CSGO Sticky thread

I have 2 19" 1600x900 monitors... running Linux Mint 18.1 with a core i7, 16GB RAM and a GTX970... maybe it's time to upgrade the monitors? :D

Nah. I'm actually going to bring down my resolution. 1080p is cool and all, but **** me. It really sucks when you have to think about what you see on screen. Often I don't even see enemies.

I use a 32" TV, works wonders.

I tried that once, as well as my current 40" TV. I find the TV's a bit too big to keep track of or notice small things that would be in the corners (mini map, enemy peeking a corner on the edge of screen etc). Also pixel quality wasn't great on my TV :/ so things that would be clear an crisp on the 24" would be blurred out or hard to notice. I'm waiting for the day I have enough money to blow on a 24" 144hz monitor :P

I once played Battlefield 4 on a 40" TV. Thing is, it really is difficult to keep track of everything on large Monitors. To me the sweet spot is 23"/24" monitors. Small enough to see everything, and big enough to see everything. Best of both worlds really.

They could join no matter what the privacy settings were,in seconds.something happend +- 21:00,then all was normal again

I was too late to test but some say the twitch sharing option in game settings has got to do with it.. vulva did a patch job so it must have been server side.have not played yet today to see if it is still ok
