Dude renier and JP made me laugh sometimes. "Window....he's at window....renier look at window....ok next time."^, does being ranked when you lobby up mean you wouldn't get hackers? I thought we were Prime-lobbying now after urban leveled up awhile back?
definitely starting to drag not being ranked...will solo tonight and later this week. Hopefully I can pick up the wins needed this week still.
I'm not watching those games from last night...still carrying the scars, man. Renier and JP were pretty funny to play with...looks like the one guy hadn't played Dust2 before. Someone was shooting him from window and he shot boxes randomly
I was thinking about what that one guy was saying after that game when he called me a smurf. Technically, he's wrong since I've only ever had one account ever and only started playing competitive now. But in a way, he's right...I've got just short of 600 hours on CS GO, a couple hundred in Source and who knows how many hours in 1.6 and earlier versions (think I started playing with guys at my work over 10-12 ears ago). It's not usual for an unranked noob to have that many hours behind him, I suspect.
I'm thinking Soul Assassin is going to have the same things said about him if we can drag him into competitive at some point.

It is likely that players in queue are still to achieve Prime. Also, Prime only means that you are prioritised to be queued with other Prime players, non-Prime players can still sneak into matchmaking. There are Prime hackers too… At the end, Prime betters your chances at having a fair game.
If you create a lobby with the other guys you can set it to just allow Prime members not just prioritise them. If you click the icon it changes from prioritise Prime to Prime only.
I know of instances where there were definitely non-Prime members, a-ahem, Smurfs, on the opposing team. I doubt that they have extra numbers to assigns to their Steam accounts, may be or may not be.
Ah yes Cyberdogs, the good ol' days am I right?
Anyone having bad pings on Telkom Internet?
Getting 300-900ms pings. Router activity flashes like mad but only when CSGO is running. Open resource monitor and almost zero network activity with csgo shut down.
EDIT: Weird CSGO seems to be trying to update while I'm playing, how fscking daft is that?
Got this error when I tried to relaunch,

Guys, little experiment to try out and report back on:
Enable DSR(nvidia)/VSR(amd) on your GPU control panel. In the game settings turn off AA, Shadows: Very Low, Effect Detail: Low, MSAA: None, FXAA/VSync/Motion Blur: Disabled and turn up your Resolution to 2560x1440
I get about the same fps as 1080p (230-280) but the game seems to play so much better, CPU usage is lower as can be expected though. . Dunno if it's just my imagination so gonna try it again tomorrow and hoping to hear what your impressions are.

Anyone playing comp on Afrihost?
I keep getting the warning about "Your lowest ping to official server is 190ms". However, if I join a game using my Telkom ISP, which is just garbage for gaming, and reconnect using Afrihost, my ping stable at +-40ms. It is, however, a giant pain in the behind. So I was wondering what would happen if I just let it connect me using Afrihost?

Ponds, is this on a 1080p monitor?
Didn't have major lag last night, though two of the guys we were playing with did.
Did have an odd experience where, during a comp, a few of us were disconnected and couldn't reconnect for about a minute or 2. Two guys on our team didn't have that though, and managed to plant and win while the game was borked. Weird.
I spectated you for two rounds last night, maybe I should try something else than just arms race.
