CSGO Sticky thread

How do you avoid getting gang-raped if you're playing arches and trying to watch boiler (so you're more forward than if you were just watching for top of mid)?

I got 3-on-1'd continuously when they weren't going banana \ apps.

It is A where the mess is. Two players are essentially on boiler side. You did good work on chubby/arch-side. On boiler side, one player plays patio/truck side, and the other play pit/graveyard or balcony/long hall. Then the rotation on those two players, but this I need to practice in-game with you guys as it is going to sound very gibberish here.

Those playing A also needs to know how to slice the pie, the pov you have on the entry-points. The player on arch do not necessary have to check boiler, but needs to watch middle. The player playing patio/truck needs to watch boiler and mid (or have a call on mid when the player on arch sees T), and needs to listen what is going on at sec/alt middle, apps and middle which is then reported to the team. To have this player switch between patio/truck, pit/graveyard or long hall exposes the whole site and puts pressure on the player playing arch.

The switches are based on intel, which player will switch where on A and which will rotate to B when the call there is made.

You guys are really not bad, as a team you punch above average, but damn work on those rotates. Get the rotates right and you will give DMG players a good run. Nades needs to be practiced, it is why we struggle so much on Mirage.

On the old Inferno map you only really needed one player at B, but now you do need two. So, three A, two B.

I am talking from a CT perspective in my other reply. T side will either smoke off arch side or patio/truck side pending on their strat, but this is where CT's intel is of critical importance. You can also smoke them off... and smoke is not bullet proof, just don't kill your team mate in the crossfire. There will be trade kills in most cases, this is where rotation is key. But yah, hard to explain, better to be practiced.

^^^, cool cool.

Even with getting the set-up wrong (I think one of the randoms was meant to be playing patio \ truck but kept running around), we did better on CT in the last Inferno game. The T-side was a 11-4 to the other team, I think? Bit of a hiding in that half.

The guy which disconnected? I don’t really check who is playing where, I only knew you had arch. I wasn’t in the game as I was supposed to be, too many distractions. We could have done better on CT though… Their team wasn’t really any good, neither were us.
I don’t like making calls in a team that I don’t know, because too many hunt or seek kills to claim the #1 log position than win the match. You know, get your priorities straight. There is a casual mode where these players are open to do these things.

On T, they kept on rushing and we should have waited them out as it was a reoccurring trend. It may have been a little dodge at times, but I am over hackers (or the delusion that some are hacking). Us having a bot may have complicated the team being organised, but damn they got me every time in alt-mid, even when I moved up to apartments, haystack or even back alley they got me so many times, FROM BEHIND. So… Also, I had to get a bit pushy again, which resulted in a disaster.

They did the same when we went Banana, it was like they had intel on where we are, rushing without care into the right direction every time. There was one enemy coming around via banana through T-ramp through to alt-mid and another through underpass to alt-mid while we had team members in those very locations. No intel is a quick death, nevermind them engaging.

As I have said many times. I am only a good player when there is consistency.

Being good at CS sometime looks like hacking from the losing side, but there a lot of people who cant understand some of the basics and cry hacking when the other player is better. Its annoying, but after watching my Overwatch, I come across a load of actual hackers, so they are out there.

Just watched an Overwatch, where the hacker must have reported the opposite team, because the Suspect was clean but you could clearly see the guy on the other team was spin-botting.

I still want to know who these people are with multiple thousand Rand knives, unless you somehow got amazing luck and opened one, how rich must you be to justify paying that much for an ingame item.

Well, I managed to mess up my aim completely...I've been playing at 1.35 and 2.2 sensitivity at different times over the last couple days. Now I can't hit anything anymore...that's what I get for being lazy and not editing the settings Wolf gave us :o

Going to play at an inbetween setting going forward.

My one bud opened a case in his drunkenness last night. Factory new StatTrak Karambit | Tiger Tooth – Factory New. About R5000.

I think that I am close to being rested. I was too overplayed and tired to continue playing every day. Now that you are on mouse settings, what is your DPI?

800 dpi all the time...the mouse has 5 settings but I turned the other ones off.

Settled on 1.7 sensitivity and slowly settling into that.

I think the Steam Community Market has a sale limit of $400 per item. Two ★ StatTrak™ Karambit | Tiger Tooth sold 23 April 2017 for R9620 each on OPSkins and the cheapest one currently listed is R6870.

My mate, the same guy which unboxed the Karambit, he plays 400/1.77 on his G403. I also play 800, but it is mainly due to my mouse having a laser sensor where higher DPI works better on the native acceleration.
