Tbh, unless you are DMG or above and often even DMG, you will face smurfs and derankers now.
It's what people are doing now to feel better about their declining rank.

They choose to not improve but rather to blame Valve's system.
If you were playing comp 2 years back then most people know the ranks were at a similar difficulty to the way they are now.
Making LE/LEM, etc actually meant something and Silvers were literally silvers rather than GE smurfs.

No insult taken, like I said I've never played Comp so I have no idea how it works, the closest I got to Comp was watching the tournaments on Twitch. I'm guessing Arms Race and Deathmatch skill don't translate to Competitive?

Yeh, that's why I mentioned they will be too good for you.
Billosoft pickups are generally played by people DMG and above.

Thanks for the tips, but I'm sure since I am unranked I won't run into the issues mentioned, and when I go up the ranks and encounter people delibaratly deranking I can play pickups.

man , i have tried so hard to get better , but just cannot keep up , so many good players , i have shot so many bullets to learn spray control , learn nade spots , map awareness , map knowledge , i know all the callouts , i have sprayed so many walls with bullets to get that spray pattern , i have download many aim maps , played all the aim maps , i have just put in over a 1000 hours , and still suck , idk , how to get better ? i mean , watafak more can i do to get better , i work , eat slep cs , everyday , i put in at least 6 - 9 hours of cs everyday , i even skip sleeping when i need to work , just because i want to see if i can practice my reaction , get better map knowledge , but , that also is just a lie , any suggestions on where i can improve what , lol funny thing , currently i am nova 3 , but was LE at one stage , i have slowly spiraled down to the city of crap infested smurfs trolls and legit silvers , yes legit silvers when i soloq , am i that bad that i need to be paired with silvers , i am not on par with the okes on pickups , those guys are just whack , i have tried , but bottom frag and cry each time , must i just continue my crusade on the pickups until i am eventually not such a big cry baby ?

CS:GO is so broken now with the new rank system. Nova to MG is just filled with smurfs and trolls now. I can't remember the last time I had fun playing this game.

But, I think your problem is the rest of your non existent team. You can be the best CS:GO player in the world, but with a crappy team that doesn't do calls, gnade, or smoke properly you will struggle your ass off. Get some friends to play and practice with you.

Regarding the new ranking system, I can't find decent matchmaking games any more. Most people are just trolling and smurfing now. Deliberately deranking to go to silver.

I sold all my skins via the market and bought Squad. OMFG what a great game. I poured about 150 hours into it just in a week's time :o

omg... 50 vs 50 ... thats some big ass maps yo , and does look fun! but alas , R400 is alot for this poor man

1, but it's not that busy. I play on the UK servers. This game is not so much about killing and more about team work. So the ping isn't an issue. The SA one has times when it gets busy then it's loads of fun. I still fire up CS:GO from time to time to get a quick match in, but that bug is now dead, Squad killed it :o

I have you on my friends list. If you have enough data you can stream my game via steam if you want when I'm playing again. But there are loads of videos on youtube too you can watch. It just doesn't do it much justice though. For once there is a combat sim out that if you try and play lone wolf style you will die pretty quickly and gain zero score. The squads play as a unit and it's amazing to see a good play and execution coming to flourish. Constant radio chatter, calling out enemy positions, building in FOBs (Forward Operating Bases) and the likes. I have always wanted a realistic sim that simulates warfare. I thought ARMA was it but it wasn't. Squad is as close to war you will ever get. O and they adding vehicles soon apparently.

Edit: Forgot the most important of all.

It's not a game where you rank up, work to a goal of levelling and the likes. Playing for skins and what not. It's all just pure fun. And if you tired, you disconnect and go on with your life. No banns and shyte.

Sounds like a game I have been looking for.

I think bohemia had the same idea for ARMA. Definitely not the ARMA life server crap thats popping up everywhere.

I have not. I will check some videos when I get home and I'll be able to compare the two.

All people playing are saying this is exactly what they have been looking for in a War sim. And I fully agree. Think of it as a combination of America's Army and Arma 3.

I used to suck at CS:go i went away played a few hundred hours of bf3 and bf4, got a better mouse, watched some youtube vids.
Then i came back to cs:go the game had changed since it initial launch years ago and for some reason i wasn't as bad at it.
 
Who wants to join a couple of old farts for DGL this year? Ragers need not apply...
