Someone who has started the missions, can you please tell me how important communication is, I don't know where my mic is.

In Guardian, it's quite important...you'll be helping or getting help from your bud. If the comms isn't there, quite easy to get overwhelmed.

I've never played an Operation, aren't the missions for the most part just waves of BOTS with objectives like use this or that weapon?

yep, that's Guardian...protect a bombsite from attacks. Sometimes the bots come with AK's so some help is good. Also the new heavy dude attacks also...1v1 against him is tricky.

My first operation also.
 
The noobs have gotten a good little team together, we got two wins in a row tonight :) It doesn't hurt having a smurf or two to carry us, but the noobs do have the occasional flash of brilliance too.
 
I like the missions, it's something different, maybe later you need a mic but I find we both just checked a side each and once the other started shooting you go help, that's pretty much the communication I've need up to this point.

Edit: I've made back almost half of what the pass cost just in day one.

Drew my 10th comp win, but turns out a draw is as good as a win :) I got my rank! It was also a special game, because Tribble joined for her first comp. Good job Tribble, some nice kills there :)

And my new rank is ....

Silver Elite Master

It's a long path to Global Elite yet :D

Thanks Tribble, there is never any judgement in the noobs group, that's why we created it :) There's plenty of time for that in the future, now we're just learning.
 
The missions are really fun but some of them are hard, when you're half HP and see the heavy armor guy coming with a shotgun you have a mini heart attack.

Pitbull was almost assassinated in real life by one of his kids :crylaugh:
