CSGO Sticky thread

@Pitbull you will be surprised. Most Pickup (PUG) providers has their own reporting and banning system in place, you will be stunned to see how many ‘great’ players are being reported and banned on there which are active on the Valve MM servers.

You have no idea how happy I was we got the map three times in a row I've played 1944 times.

I think my issue is I'm too used to playing big open maps like Dust2.

Mostly long distance hits with either an AWP/M4/AK. These quick close encounters seem to catch me off guard. In Dust 2 I can predict if someone is going to rush mid doors as an example and tazer them. Or surprize them instead of them me. I however realised yesterday that if I play a map I don't know, close quarters I get caught off guard and my reactions are way to slow to even counter it or ever have stood a chance.

Spectating you on that last map last round when the guy surprized you with the AWP you reacted instantly, taking cover, flashing and shooting him in the pip. I probably would have froze because of the surprize :o

Yea. I honestly never figured it being such a big problem. But I know how this guy played and all of a sudden he's global... And it's someone I have been playing with for years... So it's obviously way bigger than I thought :o

Just so you know, that second to last match we played the one guy had 2250 hours played and is Legendary Eagle Master and the other 1600 hours and is Legendary Eagle.

He may have been carried, it is a possibility, or he started to dope :D

The last one on Lake, we won 9-3.

Yea, wasn't that one then. I think they have the same problem I do with playing normal comps. Not being used to close action. Protip: Get an Arms race expert to be your wingman :D

The last one was very close. I think 9-7? You saved us from a tie against that AWPer.

It made no sense buying an AWP on Short Dust, he gave us the game.

The strategy worked in the beginning with him sitting by that stairway from T spawn and the guy rushing site planting for him. Luckily we caught on quickly.
We shut it down real quick when we switched, you going on site and me going for the AWP guy.

How they tried to keep going at that start was their downfall. We make a great team, even though you carry me HARD :p

No carrying, it's 2v2 so both of us did our equal share, well maybe not the first one, the first one I destroyed them.:D

This has taught me that I would probably be an entry fragger if I would ever Comp.

Definitely. Even more so with a P90. You just OWN that gun!

We played small maps, I didn't have enough for an M4 and the FAMAS wasn't going to cut it, I mostly switched between P90 with nothing or UMP with nades.

This was the first time in years I've played against people where the didn't have helmets, the pistol rounds, I completely forgot how easy it's to kill someone without a helmet.

Click click and round one is over.

And the reason Ct has such a massive advantage in pistol rounds. USP is an instant killer, accurate as fark!.

I forgot to switch back to the USP-S after the missions...

I learned that same lesson after the missions. Join a comp and bam, no USP...

Join another comp and realise I STILL HAVEN'T CHANGED IT BACK!

I think it took about 3 matches without the USP before I remembered to change it back :o

@Fulcrum you and Neo should play 2v2, it shouldn't take long at all to get to the top rank.

I'm still considering doing the operation. I am only really a comp player, and these incentive DLCs are hardly any value to me. Though I do help players out, they need to ask. Neo, Bunny, anytime.
