Is it just happening in comps or is the entire game being affected by this?
 
Just played a good round of casual. Maybe it's time to start playing competitive.

The entire game, the ‘bug’ is still looming. Even when the settings are set to low it only postpones the inevitable. I see that some people have come to the conclusion that the game bombs when exceeding 1GB VRAM, though no cause have been given by AMD or Valve.

Valve did release a stability update, but it didn't resolve the 'AMD' issue.

AMD here! We are aware of the issue and are already looking at triage and seeing if it is indeed something we can fix on our driver side or work with Valve to fix. If it's a driver side fix needed I'll make sure to push it asap. Hopefully this is something that Valve can quickly take care of game side with a patch though, sucks to see it must have slipped their QA :(.

As many have pointed out lowering quality settings will stop the crashing in the interim.

Edit: Seems like Valve was pretty quick to patch their side and looks like most if not everyone is fine now. If anyone is still crashing at this point I'd be interested in system specs so please let me know.

AMD and Valve are still requesting crash dumps. When I did the MAJOR update my CSGO crashed in-game, now with the patch it crashes when continuing with a loaded map - touch and go.

I have the latest crimson drivers for my R 9 290 and I have not been affected by these crashes and bugs at all.
 
I had the crashes but changing the settings fixed it for me. A mild inconvenience but still something that causes irritation. All I can suggest is that people send in their crash logs so that the problem can be sorted ASAP.

I'm so over it...

I did two Overwatch videos where you could clearly see people using the smoke glitch to their advantage, it is evident enough that they are not walling so... many people are reported where I had at least 3 Overwatch videos indicating this.

Well it looks like I won't be playing for a while, my GPU has to go in for RMA to fix one of the fans, I tried playing on the iGPU and it's less than half my FPS, I didn't realise how big the impact is.
 
I am looking for a new mouse , atm im looking at the steelseries kana v2 , it costs about R700 , you guys have any other mice you can recommend in the same price range ?

I couldn't believe it, I thought it was my old GPU he was giving back to me, when I saw it was sealed and brand spanking new, running 30°C cooler than the the one I had with the faulty fan.

I'm a huge fan of Logitech, I have the G400s which is in the same range.
