Ja, games take a turn for the worse when it gets serious...when no-ones talking, it's a bad sign.

In other news, fiber installers coming out to my place on Wednesday :D

I am very excited more for general internetting than gaming...my WISP connection has been pretty reliable. Hey maybe Twitch will even work!

Exciting stuff bru :D

As you know, I've had the odd speed and lag issues on the LTE but overall the speed was decent generally. But now, on fibre, not only is it faster (stably), but I don;t have to worry about downloads or streaming or whatever....it's quite nice actually.

Ja, looking forward to it. Have you done anything about prioritising traffic? I usually turn everything else off when I play...would be a bit of a waste with a 20mb line. Or is there no impact on your ping with fiber if other people are doing stuff?

I've had speed issues a little bit, but it's a new installation and new router so I haven't pinpointed the cause just yet. Home alone I average 5ms. But I was downloading Warframe at 1MB/s, my roomie was streaming something and I was jamming CS at 22ms. This is on a 20/20 line.

So I haven't noticed any reason to prioritize honestly.

Then again, I was home alone playing CS and spiked to 1600 so...

Awp = no skill. So unless you want to be flagged as a noob that can only get kills with an Awp, don't awp.
