CSGO Sticky thread

I've been grinding it out on my main, I got to say, the LE's and LEM's keeps destroying me. I need to work on my movement a little, I see the way they peak is way different.
 
Does anyone play CSGO using the Asus Laptop GL553VD? (i.e. GeForce GTX 1050)

Long Story of my Windows 10/Nvidia Drivers:
Option 1:
- Restored Windows 10 to an older image (i.e 1 Aug 2017)
- Nvidia Drivers Version 376.54
- Played CS as it had both Nvidia (ver 376.54) / Intel Drivers running same time
- Did NOT install the Windows 10 Updates
- Installed the Dec 2017 Nvidia Drivers 388.71-notebook-win10-64bit-international-whql,exe and gave the option to restart the OS (i.e. Installation is successful)
- Played CS as it had both Nvidia (ver 388.71) / Intel Drivers running same time
-- Latest Version of NVIDIA Drivers works with CSGO with Older Version of Windows (i.e. prior to Fall Creators Update)
- Failed to Install/Update latest Windows Drivers as it gives the Error "DRIVER POWER STATE FAILURE" blue screen
- Windows is corrupt (i.e restore to an image in option 2)

Option 2:
- I restored an older image (i.e 1 Jan 2018)
- Edition: Windows 10 Pro
Version: 1709
OS Build: 16299.125
- Nvidia Drivers Version 384.94
- CSGO does not load whatsoever (i.e. keeps on saying running in the backgroud of steam)
- Cannot install new drivers Nvidia Drivers ver 388.71 as it will not give the option to restart the OS (i.e. Installation is successful) therefore gives the Error "DRIVER POWER STATE FAILURE" blue screen

I really don't know what to do now?
Latest Windows OS = Steam Games don't load (doesn't work on ver 376.54)
Old Windows OS = Steam Games work (both Nvidia Driver versions)

Nah, I want to engage in less gaming this year. I will still play now and then. I haven’t even played PUBG since it released. Finally got around to playing Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Yah, people will see me less online. I told Zohan to drop me a Whatsapp when he wants to play a game now and then. 2018, I need to put my mind down to pumping out $$$.

I get what you are saying, same here, will have to focus on other stuff this year. Soon I'll probably not be playing for a while, just the odd game to try and keep my rank.

As of late all the cheaters and high ranks destroying me has been putting me off a little, makes me feel like a worthless player, even though I'm fairly ok for MG2/MGE. I just can't adapt to the play style and super fast aim of LE's and LEM's.
 
And all of a sudden I can't aim anymore. This is a bad issue to have.
 
Ordered my new mouse so will have to test it out with csgo once it arrives next week.
 
Anyone else watching the games so far? Just watched the Misfits game, Sean is very good and very clever in the way he plays, almost looks like F3 was never too sure what was happening after round 7 about.
 
Had a look at my last few comps which put me on the current Monthly "I won't play this game again" phase, and I found out that on my main an enemy player was vac banned recently (the game that put me in this phase as well).

Things are starting to add up as to why I'm on the current phase again. I see a few extra bans from games played on my alt accounts as well.

I had to change my priorities, had to relax during December as my 2018 seems to be busy from next week forward. I am considering playing tonight, also had a moment to check out the released PUBG which is quite improved I must say.
