On a side note, is see many aim assistance and walling (or glow) hacks are still undetected. I guess the devs have come up with better hooks…

Lately, I have noticed many no recoil/spread control assistance hacks.

We played against a guy yesterday who used no recoil assistance, another guy triggered on every 3rd to 5th shot.

The state this game is in. For the past two weeks, close to every team had a dodgy member or two.

Yea I’m enjoying Destiny 2 a lot more to be honest.

There are exploiting hacks like backtrack markers. Basically, it marks the position (or space) the player last occupied as known by the server at that exact time. That is why you can get killed when you 'think' you were in cover when the server still had you at your previous position. This impression also gives you the impression that you rubberband or lagged at that moment.

Here is an old video explaining it,


but there are other videos indicating how 'boxes' can be used to exploit your 'last' known position. I have also seen glow trails been used.

Backtrack is evident in other behaviours as well...

I have also felt this - I will run past - be in cover and then die. And wonder how the hell that happened. Thank you. New ways to make it harder to git good lol.

The higher the tick rate and the more valid the ticks the smaller the window, but there are hacks to manipulate ping rates which may be used to increase, by ‘delaying’, that window which isn’t an increase but more time to react on the opportunity.

Yes, I read a lot about hacks.

Hacks are pretty much divided into three categories,

- Legit hacks,
- Rage hacks and
- customisable (or scalable) hacks.

Legit hacks are more the soft type, it still requires in-game skill to execute, but is less detectable or noticeable. Rage hacks are all out third-party assistance, no skill required other than knowing the basics and pressing buttons. Customisable hacks are that you can tune yourself, more of that, less of that and so on.

There is a huge gaming culture out there who believes that legit hacks can improve you at the game, and that is their excuse for hacking.
