Out of interest sake, what do you guys reckon is better for mice with multiple DPI settings (lets say 1000/1600/2000)?
1. Higher DPI on mouse with low in-game sense
or
2. Lower DPI on mouse with higher in-game sense
+ Does the Windows mouse settings really have an effect on all of this?

When I got my rank I was given Nova2 I think. I've never been in silver. Highest I ever reached was MG2/MGE before the ranks were changed.
I'm keen to play with anyone regardless of rank. All I want is to play with people that don't routinely rage.
If you guys are prepared to play with a nova3 scrub I'll add you. Unfortunately I won't be back in SA until early October but after that I'm keen.
Lower DPI with in game acceleration turned off.
DPI = 400 and game sensitivity = 1.8 working on getting it lower and yea game acceleration turned off as well as in windows

yea, my friend was running 6 in game and he changed it to 1.8 after i found out he was on 6! now he doesnt do 360s anymore

My mouse doesn't have a DPI setting but I think my sensitivity is on 4.2 or something. Apparently this is not normal
I don't do 360s unless I want to though.

Mine is at 1.75 but not sure what my DPI is for my mouse. 1.75 is just the sweet spot for me.

I tried going lower but I play off a laptop and don't have an awful lot of space to move my mouse around. I had to get used to either having a higher sensitivity or lifting my mouse 40 times to go round a corner.
I tend to lurk anyway so most of my shooting is done close or medium range. I do OK in nova3-MG. Usually in the top 3 on frags.
Still I'm trying to bring my sensitivity down lately. Difficult though.

Same in any game, they do averagely in the rank they are actually in and want to feel better about themselves and rek people way below their skill level. TLDR They are sad individuals.

Could be. I think you'll find the reasons vary. Could also be able to take it less seriously than they have to at their actual skill level.
Also so that if they play with friends that are just starting csgo then the smurf isn't dragging his friends into a far greater skill level than they can manage.

^, is smurfing playing with another account? Ja, I've seen that...doesn't really matter to me but it is curious. How do you even get another account? Do you have to buy the game twice? Seems like too much effort for unclear rewards.
