Destiny 2 is a very expensive game. Glad that the base game was a giveaway and that Forsaken was adequately discounted, but the DLC and expansions add up.

The only reason I pre-ordered Anthem is due to everything being inclusive, DLC and expansions. Only the cosmetics will have a price. It is also a 10-year supported game. Considering that I pre-ordered the game on special, R629, it was well priced.

This new season is the first season they are adding new content, the first Blackout map update, a new specialist, a new SMG and AR and if you have the pass the first new MP maps but the thing most people grind for is probably the Blackout characters where you have specific challenges like get a 200m kill etc. Then you just have your normal skins and camos and other cosmetics.
 
I was surprised to see Sony announce an all-new Planetside game... Since Battle Royale is the new gaming meta, they are going to run up to 500 player BR matches and maybe max it out at 1000 players in Planetside: Arena.

I still hop in to ps2 from time to time to harass people... changed over the years but still enjoy it... never expected them to go br, but they have proven they can do large scale battles with little to no issues so no doubt 500-1000k will go smoothly
 
My COD will be installed by tomorrow morning, maybe by later today pending on whether I am gaming online.

Does anyone want to shoot snotnosed people in CS today?

Just don't get discouraged if at first people poop on you in COD because they already have all the attachments and weapons unlocked, in Blackout it won't matter of course.

I am used to the MW 1 and 2 golden days. I also watched streams to know and understand BO4's meta.
