Pick up games?
I played a retake server. In the beginning, they were possibly annoyed with me as it is very fast and I am horrible at retakes. But I got better as I played.
Think I need to add useless to my name before I go there again

Pick Up Games are on Faceit or Billosoft, 128 tick goodness, all very high skilled and ranked players, and less salty community overall

Ah that is why I am not there. I have accepted that I am better than most silvers now (being nova 1) - but not good enough for those servers where I would annoy people.
 
Put many hours in to this recently... rather enjoying it, reminds me a bit of the old AA from way back when... but, only really done casual stuff really, so, from time to time, haxors. This one dude who seemed and 'okay' guy during the week suddenly turned into a waller on sunday, called him out, everyone could see what he was doing, kicked etc, monday was back, different account, same thing, twice, yesterday was back mouthing off, again different account, so I eventually just left, don't have energy for the irritation... I'm assuming this is fairly standard, kick, report, just comes back with different account mouthing off about how awesome they are etc

With the game being free to play this was always going to be the outcome. Cheating and smurfing has gone up seven fold, hell, even all 9 of my smurf accounts are now Prime so its essentially not smurfing even.

I got kicked from a DM because I was "only hitting headshots". Out of the 2 guys calling me out, 1 was a smurf account and the other probably MG1 or something.
 
OMG I played a comp with some higher ranked novas. They were then told that I am a cheat as I use walls because I hit headshots with a deagle. I will have you know that I am usally lucky with a deagle but I do practice hard lol

do note that not every Valve Anti-Cheat enabled game is VAC enabled but does implement it in addition to another anti-cheat system, like Rust which is listed but uses Easy Anti-Cheat. I believe it is only Valve which still uses VAC with Source 1/2 and GoldSrc and obviously devs using these 3 engines.

Anyhow, VAC bans are irrelevant in CS now that the game is F2P. Also, Valve seemed to have optimised their Trust Factor to allow new accounts to get games as this was a widely reported 'issue'. I think Trust Factor, the way it was set up, couldn't handle the many new accounts to sort through.

Anyhow the big test will be this and next month.
