CSGO Sticky thread

Flashpoint starts tomorrow, the global qualifiers,

Group A
AVEZ
BIG
DETONA
Orgless

Group B:
Chaos
Copenhagen Flames
Redemption POA
HAVU

DETONA and Redemption are both fully-fledged Brazilian teams, hence I won't underestimate them. Those South Americans can play this game since the day of birth. Poland, Denmark and Finland are also fully represented here. The Germans are likely to clean this qualifier out. I don't know about the two American/Canadian teams.

Pretty clear which tournament organiser won the battle for the best teams. Flashpoint looks like a qualifier league for something better at this point.

How do you guys keep the game interesting? I am so bored with life in general and one of the few things that kept me going was gaming, for quite some time it was CS, but Everytime k play now it is like I can't wait for the match to be over.

Flashpoint is refreshing and it is owned by a collective, or consortium, of e-sports organisations. The plan is to include more members, or owners, but it is still in it's infancy. ESL, Valve, etc. needs competition and there is the other new league, BLAST, as well.

I just spam report that Prodigy guy in casual for abusive language, it keeps the game entertaining enough.

Rank?

Just a friendly query for info.

Anyone in Cape Town area on FIbre; what is your ping like to csgo servers and which network are you on i.e. Octotel/Openserve/Vumatel or whatever other network?

Should be 15 max

Fibre is Fibre. You should be fine on any of them. There are complaints on all networks so pick your poison.

Edit: I would like Openserve just to have the option to change service providers on the data side...

Riot is paying a lot of money for marketing their title, Valorant, as a competitive alternative to CSGO. The game is more an Overwatch competitor than anything else...

Good grief...

@Neoprod @beel

you guys need to pick up R6S, it has really good mechanics. I am waiting for the release of the Nine to Five alpha, bit that is long off...
