CSGO Sticky thread

7 months since the last known VAC ban. Sadly, Valve doesn't allow easy tracking any more.

I played a bit last night to catch up on my operation. Never have I seen this many cheaters in a casual arena. They come in groups, kicking new players and owning the servers. The Flying Scoutsman was completely blocked last night by at least 5 hackers. I believe in my ~5hr playtime last night I only had 2 matches with no noticeable hackers. Spinbots, whatnot, dominated my game experience last night.

Not to mention that every overwatch I did was also dominated by spinbots.

– Overwatch users should experience significantly fewer obvious spinbot cases.

This game is turning more and more into a schithole. What Valve must know is that players, who are cheating, are mining drops. Valve had dramatically increased the drops rates. They want more active players to keep the Steam Marketplace rich. Sad.

Luckily I didn't comp last night.

It has been dismal the past few days. Lots of dodgy shots for the most part and pushes when someone changes their weapons. I'm not calling cheating, but there has been some dodgy stuff happening.

Their Steam discussion board is also ever more the schithole, and it has always been a schithole on Reddit.

The teleport exploit is also back which allows you to 'teleport' by resetting your spawn trigger,


and, yes, hackers, have already made it operable in competitive mode. This exploit is currently being thoroughly abused.

False Overwatch bans are back so the scripts are working as intended by the hackers, again.

Yeah, CSGO is broken at the moment.

What does Valve say... nothing as usual.

I see people are pissed at Valve because they haven't discounted the operation pass. I wonder why.
 
Just letting you all know the rank I have is a paper rank... I am outgunned by silvers. Leave matches early so people don't tease me

That is the best usually, people are toxic these days. I started muting, life has not been better

If you are an Eagle or higher the days of solo queue are long over. DMGs can still survive on their own. If I solo queue now I basically end up in an extremely easy match or an impossible match, there is no middle as the middle are all smurfs of my level or higher.

Sometimes you will get a team of complete strangers which will find rhythm after a couple of rounds. There just need to be some structure and clear communications.

Yes, it is best to mute the enemy team, anyone who have too much of an opinion either have an ego bigger than their bubble just waiting to burst or are cheating. All cheaters who cheat to win competitively have a chip on shoulder.
