These YouTube scamsters have expanded their scope to CS2. New "Valve" channels popping up promoting CS2 with links to beta keys.

DON'T DO IT. They want access to your Steam account.

Since Valve released agent skins it became a concern with some models blending in too much with the environment. Smokes could cause that too. I don't see it being applicable in competitive environments, but it has its uses. Here you can see it in competitive gameplay,

Well, I've been looking forward to a new CS for a while now. Looking forward to trying it. It's one of those games I will definitely buy.

F2P, you can buy Prime Status, or you can grind it out (doesn't take long in my opinion). I don't even think that Prime Status is relevant any more with mismatched matchmaking.
 
I’m a decent Halo or Quake player but I’m quite rubbish with CS. Part of it (I guess) is playing at high sensitivity on a small mouse mat, which very few good CS players seem to do. And then muscle memory needs to be retrained for a new game.

Tired of playing on high ping servers so I’m hoping I can make the switch and make CS my game.

Just keep to one sensitivity across all FPS games. I play at a high DPI with a low'ish sense. My eDPI is always the same in any game I play.

I purchased prime on CSGO. Sounds like it will be a free upgrade?

CSGO will naturally be succeeded by CS2. CSGO will possibly still be downloadable within the Steam library, but I doubt that there will be any more CSGO public servers. Prime is essential; it does help to balance the player queues in ladder matches. I did read up on Prime and I see it isn’t unlockable in-game any more, since June 2022, good on Valve to remove that.

Yeah, I've had prime for yonks. Even bought a secondary prime for another Steam account of mine for when the laaitie that visits every once in a while can join.

I can do any night from Thursday to Sunday night. Tomorrow I can't play, unfortunately.

Casual is a fest at the moment. The skill gap between casual and competitive is off the scale. The value of certain CSGO inventory items also skyrocketed, players are hard grinding for their weekly drops.
 
When I told players back in the day that the Riptide cases might be worth something someday, well, it is almost $5 now. 2 points a case...
 
Played a couple games last night. Trying to get one of my accounts to silver/nova.

Will ranks completely reset I wonder?
