Season and DE_Tuscan have long been favorites with many people.
They never made it in.
Just because a guy makes a new map does not mean it will get an inclusion.

So , i have been searching for a active forum, as this one is, well, not so active, which forums and websites do you guys visit for latest CSGO news , updates, events, especially for local players, i feel that the south african gaming communtity, specifically CSGO, is so dead? am i looking in the wrong places? everywhere i go, that forum is dead, this website is no longer active, bla bla bla, what can i do to promote CSGO in SA ?
 
Man I get so annoyed with this game sometimes as it's pretty apparent that loads of people are being boosted or carried to their ranks.
Playing LEM games and guys are bottom fragging with 5 kills and 23 deaths.
They can't shoot for ****, can't call strats, can't flash or nade for **** and constantly push and die.

Solo que has become a chore lately, so much so I have actually stopped soloing and rather finding a team to play with.
Yesterday myself and a friend lobbied and even after we carried the games, we still lost due to piss poor teammates.
LEM and piss poor shouldn't be synonymous.

I was MGE and deranked due to that same reason, but i don't see the point in getting angry all the time, i have tried helping those lower ranks , explaining where they should throw smokes , and when they should flash , where they should look, not to run everywhere, not to shoot and run bla bla, because matchmaking is so perfect right XD , i have won alot of matches like that , but have lost because of some idiot thinks he knows best and keeps peaking a awper with his cod gun.i have no patience with people like that, but i do try and stay calm , not lose my patience, because that is when i start making mistakes in game.

I agree with you but lately I have to deal with such a large amount of players that don't take input in the slightest.
Often enough I've had to deal with someone telling me I can't awp and that I should give them the awp.
Despite my score being 15 kills above his and I dominated with the awp.

Just the other day I was holding short on Dust 2 and prevented multiple pushes throughout the game.
Short was solid and we had no issue with mid control.
The guy on Long doors kept die-ing so he yells , "I'm going short from now on because you can't handle the rushes."
So I asked what in his mind made him think that I wasn't holding short properly when my score was waaaay above his negative k/d.

So he just starts yelling at me and telling me I suck.
So I said fine, if short is so important to you then go cover short and I will cover long.
What do you think happened?
They pushed short, he died and then proceeded to call myself and the other teammates downy ****s.
Started telling us the only reason he's doing badly is because of his downy teammates.
We were all well above is score with a positive k/d and he was negative with 7/18.

And he was an LEM.

Yeah thats very sad man , get some real idiots , thats why i also been trying not to solo queue , i will rather get some friends and fill a lobby, and then you won't have any more problems like that , one only has so much patience with them idiots you know haha
 
What does everyone do with the cases, instead of buying keys and opening, just sell them?

I usually trade them or sell them , never bought a key , people usually ask me "CAN I PLEASE HAVE THAT CASE" then ill be all oppertunistic and get a cheap skin out of it, building towards that trade up contract XD

I have a ton of cases, just listed 2 shadow cases which immediately sold, it's just such a hassle to list all of the items individually.
 
Cases just devalue over time unless they are souvenir cases, I sometimes open them but normally they just add up in my inventory.

I have a question for you folks now.
Should I sell my Hunstman Knife and buy a Stattrak Vulcan and maybe a Stattrak Asiimov Awp?

Supply and demand. I myself have stocked up on Phoenix cases when they were $0.03. They can't ever go lower than $0.03 (Except for this ZAR change now, market is a bit wonky) so a good investment on my part. It will still take a while but I'll be sitting in huge profit in a year.

What collection is the Vulcan from? The phoenix collection is still very popular, Assimov's used in bets and just a very pretty skin. Older collections don't see as many box drops any more and the skin values increase. So invest in older skins. Newer skins can/will fluctuate a lot.

Also, if you're not familiar with float values and you feel like dipping your toes in the trade market, have a look at csgo.exchange.

You can check your skin floats on there. This, afaik, is only good for Battle Scarred and Factory New skins. You could still have a pretty good BS skin if the float is very high. It is a sought after collectible. Same applies for FN Low float skins.

I know all about float values and have done my fair share of trades.

I currently have a high float MW Vulcan that looks pristine, I also have a BS Awp Asiimov that looks excellent for the wear ad I really love it.
That being said, I have a Vanilla Huntsman that is great and I love it but I'm not sure I need a knife anymore.
Which is why I mentioned the 2 Stattrak weapons; I have been wanting a Stattrak Vulcan for ages so selling my current Vulcan is an option.
Decisions decisions.
 
Came across some incredibly racist and daft people this weekend while playing casual, really sad state of affairs when people try to be funny on CSGO, which reminds me, is there an option to disable all communication in a game? Rather than blocking person by person...
