CSGO Sticky thread

I think I need a better screen, sometimes it feels like I can't see the other guys.
 
Sorry guys. Failed on Friday. Fallout 4 took preference.
 
Nea no worries. I ended up watching movies and got some time to play yesterday. Ended up de-ranking to MGE again :cry:

Will get back to DMG through the week.

Apart from that, practice practice practice :o I have over 1k hours and only now hit DMG. Over 300 odd wins and about double that in losses. It does take a lot of practice no jokes. But the more you get in to it, the better you get you rank up and you play shyte again. It keeps you challenged at every bracket.

When I play I feel like I'm shyte. When I play on the laaties account, I feel like a CS:GO GOD. And this only to rank him up as he wants drops... :D

Yeah I am busy trying to get into it but since I played COD mostly where it was run jump and shoot and got into that habit I need to try and train myself to be more stealthy. I also think it helps when you know the maps because then you know all the areas and places people usually sit.

I am currently just playing deathmatch as I am still ranking up to silver 3. But yeah my son also tells me I just need to practice. I just don't like being cannon fodder for all the players.

There are a lot of training maps you can download from the workshop. Some nice smoke and molly maps to practice on. Shows you how to smoke all the key points. Shooting people doesn't make you pro, playing as a team does.

Honestly, being a good smoker can be win you a lot of games.

Just cannot rank up to eagle. I'm so tired of going through this every time I'm close to ranking up. I hate matchmaking. If I don't carry my team I just don't win. I played a game on mirage yesterday, I'm dmg the rest were 3 eagles and one lem. I get more frags than all of them and the feking lem get 4 frags the hole damn game?? :mad: How do these guys rank up? It really pisses me off that there are players like these running around in the higher ranks while I'm stuck at DMG.

Dropped a 40 bomb against a team of all DMG but I still don't win because of retarded team mates. How do I get ranked with these players. I look at the way they play and scratch my head thinking that I'm grouped with them and that we are suppose to be the same skill level.

I had a good giggle at that.

Yeah my son has shown me a couple of the training maps he plays on with nading and smoking and getting the throws right but at the moment I am just wanting to be able to aim straight :D

He did show me some awesome shooting maps which I have practiced a bit on. I think it will take time but I get quite frustrated at times, but he also does mention that deathmatch can frustrate so he reckons when I rank to 3 I must just start playing team maps rather than death match.

Smoke a jay, win a game :D.

Competitive is all about strats, all other game modes you can just run in COD style and shoot people up. Competitive you need patience, Push as a team when you're terrorists and hold the sites when you're CT. This is the problem when playing with randoms. Some will always rush and die and pin it on the guy behind him not helping out. No one wants to hold mid.

We can play around on practice maps and get you clued up on all the positions and strats. I'm not a pro, but I know more than the average guy.
