CSGO Sticky thread

This game has lots of cry babies. Earlier today I got peppered in the spawn zone (shoots map) by opposition, minute later roles reversed. Got my knife & ran from my own spawn for the kill. Comment, "Dick move" for 'camping' in opposition spawn area, I was not standing still for the kills. On that map sooner or later one of the spawn areas will be pummelled, go with the flow.
 
In CSS gungame you had way more maps & way more players on a side, it was mayhem which I really miss from CSS. Way more fun & lots of laughter!

I was in that game, joined about a minute before you knifed him. That's exactly why I posted this yesterday:

I notice a lot of new guys who were probably gifted the game over Christmas or bought because they read somewhere about a new operation.

These aren't the nicest guys around, constantly swearing and calling hacker.

But luckily they don't last very long, they get frustrated and end up never playing again... or they buy Call of Duty...

It can get a lot worse in comps. Sometimes, some guys have so much rage that it is quite laughable.

I will only play again by next week; maybe see you guys around.

Yeah true. I have not played for about two months now, today was awkward but I must say thanks for the mouse advice. I tried different settings offline playing the bots on hard & getting your mouse config dialled in correctly helps a lot.

My nick is Juliass Malema, you must see the amount of rage directed at me (and I love to knife) :D Some time back on the lakes map this guy went ballistic on his mic with a full on racists rant thinking I'm a black & a malema supporter. I told him the entire game was captured via shadow play and that I would be opening a case of crimen injuria & hate speech with the cops so they could trace his details & also forward it to the HRCSA, he just disappeared :D

I find the rage hilarious, love pressing the right buttons :twisted:

I get it.

Apparently one of the Operation Wildfire missions is/was getting a win on Shoots, yesterday I played alone with a team of bots against a full team of guys all trying to accomplish the mission, I went on to win 3 matches in a row, before they could reach level 10, at which point all 5 of them quit. :p

You can check out the community servers, there's one called classic gun game.

Back in CSS gungame days the guys got to know me as I was playing with a mic, sadly some great people I don't see any more.

I need to scratch around and find my headset(s) so I can stoke that fire while playing :d

Back in the early days of CSS gungame I got so annoyed when I got knifed and initially biacthed a bit but then I realised stfu and get equal by improinge your knife skills.

A few months ago on the I knifed about six guys in a matter of 10 seconds, loads of rage but the laughter from the rest of the players & others edging me on to knife more was priceless!

I always just want everyone to have fun and you get the times when it's a full server of the nicest funniest bunch of people and other times you just get a one person or a couple of guys, that usually know each other and game from the same house, being loud and vulgar just because, that's when I make it my personal mission in life to absolutely destroy them in game.

Earlier today I found a guy being a tool to some new players and noticed he was trying to do one of the operation missions, I denied him a win two times in a row at which point he quit, I then went to find a new server with people in it just to find the same guy playing against bots, as soon as I killed him 3 times in a row he quit again.

And this wasn't some new person he had a 5 year coin and Comp rank, I hate when the older guys actively discourage new players.
 
I just encountered the worst bunch of salty cry babies again.

Playing Arms Race and immediately got reported for hacking and by the fifth game I won in a row I apparently had 3 Overwatch guys checking my game play.

Keep in mind this is after the guys complained in a previous round about the bots being OP.

Would love to hear what @ponder has to say about it, he was there the whole time and pretty sure the guys called him out a couple of times too, I remember the one guy said he gave ponder five headshots and he didn't die. :)

Dunno what their beef if is, just like moaning or hate getting their asses whipped I suppose.

I got some crap as well. As for the guys that shoot me and miss their aim sucks as they can't hit fish in a barrel, sometimes it helps to stand still and shoot at a moving target else we might as well be dancing. Sometimes I get cornered and after I do a bit of a shuffle I'm amazed I still have 100 health after 3 guys are wildly firing :D

It just annoys me that I have to Google "False Overwatch ban"

But luckily I don't hack so I suppose I don't have anything to worry about, like I said the guys complained about the bots being OP. I have a giant Five Year Veteran Coin visible next to my name, clearly this isn't my first rodeo, then I get reported by guys crouching and burst firing SMG's. :whistle:

Had a fun comp this weekend with a bunch of randoms. Nobody took it too serious, a salt free game.
 
Looking for a team

Hi Guys

I know I am probably asking this at the worst time possible since the DGL tournament is in full swing.

I want to join a csgo team.

My experience in comps is very limited. Played for a team called JOZI in the 2014 DGL we ended 3rd or 4th in our group so didn't advance any further and after that the team didn't play much and now I want to start again.

The reason why I only ask this now is to prepare for next season, so I can catch up with the comp scene and hopefully learn all the ropes.

I have been playing pickups the last 4 months. So I have practice behind me, but not the same as a real clan match.

If you guys know a more appropriate forum to ask this please direct me to the right place :)
