You have no idea how much hate I get on csgo, I get called the K-word a lot, last time was on Sunday & it's usually some dutchman.

My nick is Juliass Malema btw, the pun is lost on these egits.

I finally got around to using the CS:GO Stats program that allows you to better check who you are up against and who your team mates are, it adds a quick overlay ingame that shows you all the players K/D ratio, kills, win %, play time and favourite weapon, doesn't get in your way at all, you just press Alt + F to show and hide it.

My last knife kill to win the match put me at 102,000 kills exactly, I love when stuff works out this way.
 
What line speed are u guys playing on. I'm on 2mb Axxess 100gig and I never ever am able to play when I try to matchmake.

On CSS I was able to play but the ping on int servers well... You know.

10mbps, but it seems to be very slow. I tend to use LTE most of the time these days.

2Mb/s, Assia gives me 2.5Mb/s but screws up my latency. Still gaming fine though.

Line speed has no bearing on what your ping ingame will be, the physical distance from your house to the server stays exactly the same, some ISPs sometimes perform better but the closer you are to the server the lower your ping will be.

What happened to MWEBs Jozi servers? I read a bit of the thread, seems like everyone is playing int.

No one is playing internationally, pretty sure the servers are still in Johannesburg and probably in Cape Town.

My ping is usually 30ms which works for me.

Then I must be doing something wrong Will try again tomorrow after GoT in the evening
 
Lots of conflicting info out there so wanted your input... got myself a lekker mouse after wanting to for some time (Corsair M65) been using standard desktop mouse up to now... So on this I can set the DPI... I have set the multiplier in game all the way down and lifted the mouses DPI to where the sensitivity is what I like it to be... is this the right approach ?

Appreciate your feedback...
 
That is a matter of preference. What matters is that you get it to the effective sensitivity that works for you. There are many ratios of mouse DPI to in-game sensitivity that will achieve this.

Personal preference. My settings are the opposite of what seems to be the norm.
 
Another question, I have been having endless issues the last few weeks with playing. I keep getting matchmaking errors saying it could not connect my internet connection is fine and latency fairly good when I do connect.

I would be connected with 50ms latency on that score board thing but still it would be laggy as heck and I keep getting timeout messages. My thinking is shaping perhaps ? I am on Afrihost Mobile data (4G MTN Network).

Any ideas ? Anyone using Telkom LTE ? I am considering getting that...
