I sometimes use my Afrihost Mobile Data when the ADSL is not working. It works fine most of the time and the only real issue is that my latency is around 80ms

Have you looked at your net graph in game?

Yeah I have been using Afrihost for some time and played without issue until now.

I have not, did not know there was one TBH... will check it out.

Use netgraph (when you notice the lag, in console type net_graph 1). That thing on the scoreboard is an average over a far longer period of time and I find is far less accurate than the netgraph display.

You could also be experiencing packet loss or high jitter. Again net graph will show this while the scoreboard won't.

The net graph text is kinf od big but there are commands to make the display smaller and less intrusive. Just google it and you will find them. I just added it all to my configuration file so csgo boots with net graph running and sized to my liking from the start.

I really should enable Replay HUD or something to record. I just encountered the angriest person ever, I joined a game of Arms Race and 2 seconds after I hear the match leader is on the Golden Knife, level 16, I go on to knife this person I think five times and ended up going from level 0 to 16 and winning the game.

Lets just say the other player was not happy and I wouldn't be surprised if he now uninstalled the game.

Haha you should...

I love arms race, I hate the shot guns I always lose momentum there. Also need some practice with the knife but got better there.

Come fight with me, SA mentioned the other day that according to my stats the knife is my favorite weapon :D

Nice thing about a knife is you level up & the victim levels down on a knife kill :twisted:

I also get stuck on the shotguns sometimes, it depends on the map and where you are when it happens though, if you just died and spawned on Lake with a sawed-off you're going to have a bad time.

Yip, on a small map like shoots for example it goes a lot quicker, just run with your aim slightly higher so when you run into someone and you pull the trigger it's a headshot, else just use your knife to get over it :D

I battle with the shotguns on larger maps.

Luckily for me the last stretch are the pistols, this is where most people lose momentum.

Whenever I find a guy with the sawed-off the knife comes out, 50% of the time you will win that fight.

I'm really excited for my new monitor to arrive next week, I always feel on the bigger maps the guys can see farther than I can.

Who watched the ELEAGUE broadcast on Supersport 7 this morning?

Luminosity kicked arse. Cloud9 simply did not perform as a team - too many individuals. Stewie2k come good towards the end but one man does not make a team.

Cloud9 in general isn't that good. Envyus on the other hand is great. If you want to watch all the pro league games, they are available on YouTube. Just search for ESL.

I watched it as well, glad that Luminosity whipped Cloud9's butt. Just sad that they didn't broadcast the third map :(

Wonder if this was a mistake on SS's behalf or did the international broadcast just end early. Anyhow, watched the third map on Twitch, so it wasn't the end of the world :)
 
I really appreciate how the CSGO team add special graffiti when amazing things happen in the tournaments with little easter eggs just for fans.
