CSGO Sticky thread

Did something huge just happen in the latest CSGO update:

On Valve official servers, the current map will be excluded from the vote options at the end of a match.

My point exactly, I thought something was wrong with my game until I checked the change logs.

No matter which map it is in a fast, fun game mode like Arms Race I don't want to play it four times in a row, every time at the end of a match when someone votes for the same map again I think to myself "Who the hell voted that again".

Yeah no I like cycling through all the maps.
 
The Overwolf app has a new feature, game session summary, that tracks how long you play everyday, how long your last game session was etc. but my favourite thing is the GIFcam, it auto detects headshots, kills and deaths and saves them as GIF's in a folder, if you have a good system it shouldn't have much impact on performance and it's great for when you make that epic headshot, inhuman reaction etc

The GIFcam most likely won't work but you can try out a addon app for Overwolf called ReplayHUD, it acts sort of like a gaming PVR, it keeps the last 20 seconds of game play in buffer, if something epic happens you just press the key combo and it will save the last 20 seconds or you can watch it ingame.

I am one with the Deagle, too bad it was one of the smallest maps.

If you have a nvidia gpu their shadowplay feature will also do that (up to 20 minutes) with almost no performance impact as it uses a onboard encoder designed specifically for the task of recording.

It's not even just lying and deceiving a 15 million+ fan base with the majority being underage which already makes them scum, what they did is straight up illegal and the FTC will have something to say and the FTC don't play games.

Igoring CSGOLotto, Valve Corporation themselves has entertained the gambling concept. This is one reason why Valve is so lenient with abusers, users having multiple Steam accounts to troll, cheat, etc. contributes to their marketplace.

Lol I think I knifed that poor guy about six times on that safe house map today, was not like I was picking on him, he just kept running into my knife coming around the corner. It's funny though :D
