CSGO Sticky thread

I want Assault and Militia, I love those maps. And Compound from CSS, used to love that map. I played the CS:GO version recently, not bad.

Will have to practice the above 3 as I don't know them too well.
 
I've never comped anything else but Dust.

This will be a welcome change

I am done with gaming for the time being. CSGO will be shelved. Probably return in a month or two as a Nova 3.
 
So not just me then. Last comp I played left a very bitter taste. So bitter that I purchased Battlefield 1 out of spite.

Actually, the game deranked me. Lost a single comp after ranking up, and it dropped me back down to Nova 2. Promptly typed 'quit' into the console. Haven't played a comp ever since.
 
Ok, I won't be playing tonight either. My Raspberry Pi has decided to randomly start turning my TV on so I need to try reload it.

But of course the internet is flaky today so I cannot get the distro downloaded.
And the flash drive I used now reports 'unknown capacity' when I try and format it.
And the backup flash drive I have is too small to pop the distro onto.
And the 'clean all' command to remedy abovementioned issue is taking forever
And the laptop I use for my Linux work's hard drive is making some awful clicking sounds every few minutes.

I think I should just crawl into bed and call it a day :(
 
Will join you lads a little later. My laptop is currently at 88* and 85* on the cores, running just Chrome so I can post this.

So going to open up and clean the fan etc, then see how we do. Can't game right now obviously, until its fixed.
 
Jobs done, found some fluffies! Don't have Thermal Paste so couldn't do that unfortunately, but found a fair build up in the heatsink itself.

Anyone having issues with Steam? I've been connecting to Steam for 6 minutes.
 
Thanks. Sorted now, logged in offline, restarted, sorted.
 
Just me or is there something wrong with the ranking system again?

The games I'm being ranked with includes people from nova 3 all the way to DMG and even LEM I'm MG1 :confused:
