I've never seen a SA player with Global, I know they're out there but the highest I've seen with my own eyes is Supreme.

We have one on this forum. He actually got me into CS:GO by gifting me the game. Haven't seen him on here much though, but he's here. I'm not comfortable pointing him out, but you guys who have me on your friends list will see him there.
Honestly, Silver is the worst rank. Took me very long to get out of silver. Solo queued my way out, but took about 3 months to get out. You literally have to carry game after game to get out. Once out of silver, the game becomes fun however.

I have 2 on my list, but most guys hardly play competitive mode, mostly due to 128 tick so it is clannies and pickups. They take the game seriously.

He does play on Casual sometimes but they use a different system linked to CS:GO to comp on 128 tick servers.
I've heard that 128 tick is where it's at. Issue is, ESEA isn't for casually running around. I also suck at the game, so won't be worth it for me to get ESEA.

I have many people on my list which are good at the game, but hardly play competitive mode. Many are deranked, and since the ranking update many didn't chase ranks anymore. For example, I will have a MGE on my list which plays at a Global level. You hardly see them in-game, they mostly play aim maps, then go pickup.
Do you play pickups as well, or not at all?

Nah, close I hope. My highest rank was LEM which seemed impossible to up rank. This was on the old ranking system. Then I also stopped playing, had to adapt when I returned to the game. I hit LE, but then lost one match which immediately deranked me back to DMG. DMG is where I am at, win 8 matches in a row and still stuck here... It is all about rounds won and MVP stars it seems.

No. You think you are good until you visit those boys. Yes, I have played a pickup or two, but no.
They say the best way to improve is to play with better players.
Prime also helped a little bit. VAC also does its bit, but at the end of the day, a lot of the cheating still goes undetected anyway.

There are many free alternatives, if the software is not loaded in you Steam directory it will be safe from VAC detection. Third-party detection software may still pick up the software in use, but why would a hacker install anti-hacking software other than being forced into it. Therefore, Overwatch exists, but suspected hackers need to be flagged several times before a vacation is ordered against the account.

Played a comp last night and had a pretty toxic team. As the game progressed I told myself to ignore them and just try and get through the match without downing a whole bottle of bleach. The team consisted of two stoners who were laughing constantly as they stood in spawn while trolling, an arrogant woman, and one decent Afrikaans guy who also started to get triggered with the people laughing in voice chat and the constant spew of weak insults buy this woman. Anyways, at about half way through the game I really struggled to maintain my cool and for some reason I accidentally just put the arrogant girl in her place and whole lobby started crying from the laughter. How this unfolded: Its round 14 and the map is Cache. We are T's and decide to rush B. I throw a flash and enter the site, spray down two enemy's and notify the team to plant. I then realise the stoners and this woman were still in spawn. Obviously, they rush mid and die. It’s just myself and the other decent guy left alive. So, this lady started to insult me while spectating me. And at this moment, I lost it. Take into consideration that I am trying to listen to footsteps and clutch. She says, 'Wow. That’s the ugliest AK skin I have ever seen.' Without thinking I replied, 'At least my vag*** isn't well worn.' At that moment, the whole team fell apart. Everyone was laughing so hard and needless to say she was a lot quieter after that.
