CSGO Sticky thread

Instead of preparing for tomorrow I went off to ‘fix’ my CSGO. Ah… Game profiles are saving and working again, yeah! Gamemode is working, but it does bugger-all.

Thanks Soul, that AMD driver update resolved a lot of troubleshooting I was about to do. Didn’t know they released a new driver update. The heads up is appreciated.

Anyone up for a comp tonight?

I have a suspicion the people that gained FPS from the update have a lot of stuff running in the back normally and now with Game Mode CSGO is getting the resources it would have had anyway.
 
Can someone explain why I always have 200ms on official games :(

Same problem on Afrihost and CrystalWeb

Servers seemed a little wonky to me too but thought that it might just be one of my PC's downloading the new Windows update.

Ping wasn't that high though.

So gatvol of it, deathmatch and all other modes work 100% (sub 60ms).

Anyway so I finally got ranked? Gold Nova III, what does that mean? :D

Gold Nova III is exactly in the middle of the ranks.
 
Anyone experiencing sound issues? I at first thought it was my headset giving issues, but after tonight I pulled the plug. The only reason I'm asking is because a player on the opposing team said that he is having sound issues after the Windows update which may very well be a driver issue.
 
I use Telkom, used to use ADSL and Telkom and Mweb on par, I think Crystal Web had low ping too.
Now I use Telkom LTE and on average my ping is lower, I am getting 60-70ms. Its a playable speed, but as soon as fibre creeps into my area I am switching.

I would love some under 20ping.Maybe then I would also look at getting a 144hz monitor too.

Question, Those who have fibre what speeds you get on international servers?

I have a suspicion comp isn't going to be very fun for at least the next few days...
