On your Steam friends list, click the little arrow next to the name and click "Add Nickname", then add the forum nickname. That's what I do else I never remember.

Here's a noob question to follow it up with: which gun do you recommend practicing with first in deathmatches as a CT? I've been using the MP4 because that was recommended elsewhere, but it doesn't seem to be that deadly: I swear I have to unload a good few rounds into somebody's head to kill them and if they've got a sniper then I'm just dead, goodbye buddy.

M4 and M4A1-S. Also practice with the USP and the UMP. The M4 is powerful. M4A1-S is slightly less powerful but more accurate.That'll be handy, another pro tip

Ok cool, will look for it. Are those all just on the rotary dial under "Rifles"? I haven't yet figured out how the inventory works ... I've got a huge inventory of items (it just displays while a game is loading) but I've never been prompted to select a specific loadout. Another noob problem I know, don't laugh too much.
