CSGO Sticky thread

We will sort this out on discord tonight. Easier than doing it here.

USP is the standard silenced pistol of the CT. UMP is an SMG.

They do the same damage, but the M4A1-S does marginally more damage to unarmoured targets on the stomach area. M4A1-S is more accurate (also when moving), no tracers when silenced, marginally more damage at distance and a better recoil rate (much better to achieve a double on headshot). The M4A4 has a larger magazine, shorter than the M4A1-S and has a higher RPM.

All pending on your playstyle. I play with the M4A1-S.

Ok boss, we'll get there. At least I'm learning stuff, that F3 to disable random weapons in death matches was really helpful!

People who make CS:GO promises and then don't keep them need some form of punishment ... like full team vs them for three rounds :P I was there, Tribble was there, Soul Assassin was there, Wolf was there, even ponder was there. No Urban Bunny to be seen.

And Soul Assassin and Wolf, you guys need to give Tribble and me a break: Arms Race isn't fun at the best of times (all those bots and tiny maps!!!), so Dust 2 is my gravy for now while I work on aim. Tribble and I had some fun killing each other there lol.

PS: Don't any of you have working mics, or are you all so shy??? All this talk of Discord and then you get stage fright.

Bots are predictable for the most part. A simple one tap is easy.

There's a massive difference between Dust 2 as a relatively closed world, where your range of fire is pretty much confined to right in front of you or a passage way just to the left or right. That makes it far easier to manage at a run. I've noticed that the bots are relatively easy to handle: unlike the skilled human opponents, you get a couple seconds to kill a bot while a human opponent will generally kill you within a second if you don't get them first.

In an open world map like that stupid Safehouse map in Arms Race, the bots and human players can come at you from anywhere. Baggage is even worse: you've got to worry about what's all around you AND above and below you.

Dust 2 it is for now :)

That's good Tribble :) Just remember to keep moving if you're under fire. This ain't the wild west where you've gotta stand your ground. I'm trying to fire shorter bursts these days and drag my spray upwards in the hope of getting a headshot, and that seems to be working. Any top tips you can share? The pro guys on here have forgotten what it's like for us noobs lol.

Oh, and the M4S (or whatever it's called - the one with 20 bullets and a silencer) was great! Really accurate.

My guy took his silencer off. Donno how I managed that
 
They need to change the wording when you get killed. I don't like being dominated
