CSGO Sticky thread

Last night I scored no XP twice even after playing 2 x 15 round games, maybe that's the reason.

I don't like AWPers much, but it seems much more balanced than it was under CSS.

I love that gun...use it a lot in casual. I like rushing chokes and facing down a guy who's trying to do the same.

Was that you on our team on Dust 2 who kept checking down mid while everybody else was being killed down Long? lol

Still no Steam request from you - what gives? You don't wanna play in our sandpit? :P I'm desperate for all the players I can get into our little group so that the beginners have a chance.

tell me about it :(

I would say the right difficulty in terms of competitive level is hard i.e. we should be playing against people who punish our mistakes and push us to get better. So playing with Wolf is cool that way...with the opposition we get I usually end up around even on k/d with a few stars.

I realised quickly that if I'd been playing this game properly all these years instead of just messing around in casual, I'd be a lot better. In casual, I never held angles or even worried too much about them...in comp, that's like a whole thing I have to learn. That and patience and grenades and and and...the list goes on.

@Wolf - I'm going back to being a casual :p

The better players usually avoid going into a 10v10 casual match, and casual being casual it does nothing to really improve a player other than giving insight on the bomb. Casual modes like deathmatch, arms race and demolition has a reward system. Generally, the better players will warm up in deathmatch, arms race or on a community server (or chill there than to venture into casual).

What happens is, when you go all out competitive in an 10v10, those players lose their ****. I know.

@Neoprod

Those last two matches we had, one match was skewed and other were pure competition. Liked the competition, that match tested me. We had to grind.

Going to make you an MGE tomorrow night.

Overpass is a pretty cool map...I'm liking it. The rotate from long A to B takes awhile though...is it shorter to go through bathrooms to connector?

This guy...he's incorrigible. I think I'll go on a deranking spree in between games with you :p

Depends where you play, but it is best to avoid the U-turn rotate going close through T spawn. However, a lurk player can do it, but then the player must be on the dot with timing. This usually up to the CT on long, but yah, bathrooms to connector.

My playbook is two A and three B, heaven being the quick rotate on intel.

Lol, I baited lekker in that match.

You will make me put you through a ranking spree. I need an LE to go LEM with me. Solo is hard man.

^, that's where map control comes in. Instead of rotating through on-call, keep taking ground slowly from the start of the round. Should shorten the trip a lot...if you don't get killed by a lurker.

I'm guessing the timing is much the same...around 20 seconds or so from mid Long A whether you go through CT spawn or connector. That's a bit too much if B players are facing a 5 man push.

Take iScream on your rankings odyssey :whistle:
