The next event looks the most interesting of the three.

How deep is your weapon pool? Play a 5v5 best-of-30 match with a twist - once you buy a weapon, you can't buy it again for the rest of the match. Coordinate with your team, grind the enemy out of weapons, and try to keep your best options available!

It's going to be very strategic, you have to know when they are saving and if you kill one of them when you have a pistol or SMG you need to pickup his gun.

If one person is better with the AWP have the team drop it for him etc.

Pretty good, need to get used to the DPI and maybe change them, need to figure out which are the correct settings for me.

Played yesterday, felt I did well but had a ping of ~40-1600 so it was a little...haphazard.

The Rival 100 has optimal tracking below 500 ‘CPI’, so set the mouse to 400 DPI and play with your in-game sensitivity. Play around 2.00-2.50 (start at 2.50 and slowly drop until it is right, only you can tell), many Awpers set the mouse to 500Hz, but leave it at 1000Hz now until you are ready to experiment.
 
At least this time I'll have zero down time when I get my new GPU but I don't think this new Hydra event is for me, I'll wait for next week and get 4000XP.

When it approaches 1600, you need a sundial rather than a stopwatch to measure it :D Were your housemates downloading the internet in the background?

Interesting bug the last update introduced, if you switch to crosshair style 1 the crosshair shows when using the snipers.

Also an estimated ~7000 users were hit by a ban wave including previously untouched Linux cheaters.

It seems they implemented a new server side anti-cheat system and it seems all the current known working hacks are now obsolete.

I just don't get the need for someone to buy hacks for a game at premium just to have an elite rank :confused: I play for fun and in my skill group even if it's Silver 1. Some people...

Just for those who know a bit more about ELO. If I draw a game, is that the same as a loss to the game?
