CSGO Sticky thread

I just watched a game Wolf played with players on his level...ma se hare. The skills.

You know something, it might be a good idea if we had somebody technically inclined here to set up a Twitch channel ... then the rest of us could catch games like ^^^ whenever, and we could learn something.

I mean, if MedicNick can have his own channel, shouldn't we have a MyBB channel that everybody can contribute content to?

Yah, hard game that. I was a bit tired and I seemed to be excluded on the comms. The TS (or Discord) conundrum…

Then I had to play another one, a queue against my prior teammates. We won though, and we didn’t even communicate. The best is we were down 0-7 and then the LEM in me came out to play.

jissus...for someone on a break, you play a lot :p What time did you get to bed - like 3am?

See you at 7pm.

Soon

Nick has 20Mbps upload, how much do you think the rest of us plebs have?

He can send you the demo link in Steam chat then you can watch it that way.

I use CSGO if I want to watch...no overhead for the guy playing.

I almost wish I hadn't watched :o...those guys were very quick and super-accurate. I ranked up to MGE last night...I expect to start getting ripped a new one soon.

Told ya so. Better players make you a better player, exposure to higher levels is excelling.

He will get to see my highlights in overwatch soon :p

Overwatch? 0.o I need to learn CS:GO, one game at a time!

But srsly, maybe the CS:GO Masters here need to just start a community service whereby they give us the date and time of a comp they'll be doing together and sharing the link to spectate the game on here (that's possible right?). I think there'd be a lot of interest in that, I know I'd definitely find it helpful (rather than just some random super-genius online who spends 99% of their waking life in-game).

Overwatch is where reported players are analysed by the community to manually provide anti-cheat checking.

It is possible, yes, but it is not easy without a team. You will only learn something when there is proper comms.

Oh right, I thought you were talking about Overwatch, the game.

It is a game...a game of cat and mouse.

the hacking is pretty sophisticated nowadays...I honestly can't tell if someone is cheating or not unless they do ridiculous stuff regularly. Maybe when I get a few hundred more hours under my belt.

Thats my you need to be a minimum of MG1 to do overwatch, otherwise all the silvers will say cheats when its just skill.

When they introduced Overwatch it worked and it worked good. Be honest now, which one of you regularly judge Overwatch games? I think I did two when I got it at first about 1k hours played ago.

No one is using it no more so you can report all you like, nothing will happen :p

^, I was wondering about that. I read there's an XP award to encourage people to do Overwatch duty (plus the satisfaction of cleaning up the game a tiny bit) but at the same time, Valve banning people probably affects revenue from skin trading, right? So Valve may have in interest in not getting cheaters kicked out as much as the community might like. Then again, the serious okes probably wouldn't be using the community marketplace...

/pure conjecture on my part.

Thanks for the game, Wolf / Stillie - solid night's work (3 wins, a draw and a loss).

When Stillie decides to TK, he makes sure of it - I got AWP'd in the face :p

I'm still snorring since last night, good games. Lacked structure in the games... however, nobody in my queue disappointed. That draw could have easily been won, and the loss... Well I don't like noise on my comms.

I will be in better shape on Thursday night, tomorrow is no CSGO day.
