Welcome to derankville, where games suck, and Valve is annoying. I think I'm going to start playing BF again. Played some BF1. Did good for a first time playing. Played BF4 last night, was spectacular.

I played relatively bad, out of practice. See what happens when you hang up your mouse. Thanks for the awesome game @Fulcrum29 You played well. Was my first time playing Overpass, so had to learn angles as we played.
. It seems to depend on the style of the other teams game.Howzit guys, I've got a bit of a problem. I've been playing CSGO for a while now, and whilst I'm pretty decent at DM and arms race, I have yet to play a competitive match. I get impatient after 20+ minutes of waiting and go back to other game modes. Any tips on finding games? Preferably local ones since its *** playing on overseas servers. Also, none of my mates really play, so I can't rely on them inviting me to matches.
I heard a comment the other day that taught me a lot. We were playing and losing because the CTs were pushing. The comment was - these must be Silvers. It does seem as there is a difference in playing style between new silvers and experienced players.
But I learnt that sometimes it works if the other team is cautious and afraid of deranking. I try and remind myself not to hunt the Ts. They will come to me or time will run out. But there is satisfaction in slaughtering them ASAP too. It seems to depend on the style of the other teams game.

I've noticed tonight playing on cache that my issue is, I'm far too aggressive on CT. It works on T, but on CT I get my ass handed to me. I need to stop pushing just to get more information. Also need to start playing with the normal M4 as the one with the silencer sucks when you get rushed.
it is sometimes easier to find a game if you queue with friends.
What maps are you queuing with?
Casual aint just casual to me. Many a game is won by me using my ears and warning others about incoming hostiles "T coming thought marketplace to CT spawn", "T at top of hole", I engaged verbally with my team mates
Yeah I don't really have mates who play that often, but I guess I can try find okes in the DMs who seem to be on my level and make friends there.
Mirage, Inferno, Cache, Overpass, Nuke, Cobblestone, Train, DustII.
Depends. If it's casual, all maps are fun. Comp, there is really just one map that I play... Dust 2. Been dipping into new maps since playing with Bunny, Prod and Fulcrum, but if I'm solo queueing I generally stick to Dust 2. Overpass is a fantastic map. Just need to learn the callouts on Overpass and Cache.Man, I haven't Infernod in ages, seems I only catch Mirage, Train and Nuke, with a sprinkling of Cache.
I find Train a lot of fun.
Which maps do you guys find fun?
