You won't believe it - I have another cold. I cannot seem to get rid of these horrid things

Today I will try solo queuing again. But after about 30 minutes of waiting I get seriously bored. Why won't it find me a game? I have like 5 maps selected.
 
That's weird.. Make sure that your max acceptable ping for a game is not set too low... Should be around 80
 
I will check. Though my daughter uses my pc and is able to find games. But she is ranked MG2
 
Tonight at 7:30 again? I'll play some games with bots to see the common spots (there is a workshop add-on for that) before we play, so I don't run around like a headless chicken.

Not true from my experience, but it's up to her I guess. Beats waiting 30 minutes for a comp.

Happy to queue with you but was waiting to see who it would put me with. Really want to know where I fit. But it seems it doesn't know.

Quite often I look at open lobbies but they are all MG or high golds. And the Silvers are not prime. And I am so tired of playing with cheaters. Perhaps I should let you guys carry me and then just wait for the derank :crylaugh:

You should queue with Novas, that's about where you are at currently. You will get better, part of the reason you're queuing there is because you don't play comp much, so tactics and strategy in a comp are still being learned. It's very different to casual, the play style and tactics are quite different due to being concerned with economy, etc.

Best thing to do is just keep comping, ideally with some regulars so you form a team and learn how the other players play.
 
I would have offered to play with you using my one alt account, but it is also not prime... Only my main is prime.

Thanks. I agree. Casual is nothing like comp. Very different. Only real benefit is finding out how quickly you can be Killed

Haha. Well you've gotten good with your accuracy and reaction times. Maybe we should play tonight with bots or something, I can show you some angles and such. Or we could just comp.
