Yup, I was a Silver 3 at a stage. Can still see it in my game play, but I'm always trying to evolve my gameplay. I even play PUGs these days in a bid to play better and get put up against better players.

Do remember, there will be more hackers during this period. School/varsity holiday, Steam sale, changing match-making mechanics, etc. and general small penis-syndrome, all contributing to hacker’s season. Just remember, when you have a teammate hacking, report him/her.
Like I say, when there is progression, it needs to be EQUAL and FAIR, a positive experience.

That is why I like to queue with you and your crew or Urban's crew rather than playing with random players, I know you are legit.
Same, I hardly ever solo queue anymore. Between horrible mismatches of rank and the cheaters it just ruins it.
I still solo, but it's getting so bad I'd rather just play a pug where I expect to get destroyed.

That is a player caught by Overwatch, it only happens in a competitive game. Hacks are not always immediately noticeable in-game, but in Overwatch, a suspect goes through several reviews by the CSGO community on which a positive result is presented to Valve on which they will act.

When I were a little smug kid, prior to Steam, I used to cheat and train my games, but as I grew up I quickly noticed that it takes the challenge away. One cannot succeed without a challenge. No challenge, no worth in playing any game. The same principle applies to every person, every day, the moment you wake up. There is simply no winning in cheating.
I use to play single player games with trainers as well, but that soon because so boring I disliked the games. I'd never cheated in CS, my goal is to get to Global, but I first need to work on my consistency which is a big issue at the moment.

There are exceptions, but the principle is not to cheat another.
EDIT:
When you play a competitive game, it is your time and when someone cheat-to-win they steal your time. Time is everything.

Sadly that is the thing, if someone is cheating it messes with my mindset and I start to look for reasons to not abandon the game.
And as such my MGE account deranked. I'm actually pissed, and really pissed. I need to practice some more and get my rank back. Loosing to LE's as an MGE and deranking is horrible. I'll get my rank back.

Don't think I want to comp without my clan any more after the above...
Prod and the regulars can be trusted, they are definitely not cheating, I've played many a game with them, and always end up in a good lobby.
