Tried too get into this across the holiday, geez the pace is something to get used to, having not played any Fps games in years. Faired well against the bots, though probably because they were only armed with what seems to be snowballs.

The snowballs are gone again, festive season is over.

Steam servers for SA seems to be down at the moment. I only get European matches with 200 ping.

Still on other servers, 185 ping for me, instead of the usual 5 to 10. And they don't speak much hey, quiet folks.

It seems like server maintenance, us, the USA and Australia are idle. Inventories are also slow.

The game have improved much such since Vikendi. The map is well optimised and balanced and they increased the loot rate, the quality, on that map. You are better geared and the locations have atmosphere.

Take it from me, I have about 8 or 9 accounts that is all prime, playing CSGO on a new account will allow you to rank up, but by two ranks at most. I gave up trying to see if I can get a better rank on my secondary accounts as its easier to just keep on playing on my main account. Its a nice way to warm up however as the rank on a secondary account doesn't mean anything.

Now you see I feel it is unfair to those you play with if you aren't going to play to win. Then play with a group that all agree that rank isn't important.

Gabe heard you cry, shame. I will PUBG and RoE the coming weekend.

I always play to win, nothing else matters to me. when I say its nice to warm up I mean its a good way to fine tune my aim, aim takes about two games to kick in properly. Lower ranks are way more forgiving when it comes to peaks and movement.

So many awesome moments and memories from this game, sad to say but Valve killed it when they made it free to play and made all the smurf account prime at the same time. It doesn't influence the pro scene too much however as they already relied in third party servers anyway.
