Hi guys,
Just a quick question in general. Those of you that play CSGO on a regular basis, to what extent do configure the game to suit your needs to perform to the best of your ability?
Do you ever tweak any of following:
a) Scaling Mode - Black Bars / Stretched
b) Aspect Ratio to coincide when using BB or STR
I know that in-game video settings also play a huge role if one prefers having the highest FPS possible, set everything to low (if one doesn't have the hardware to play everything set to their highest).
With regards to mouse settings, obviously sensitivity plays a huge role and DPI settings.
Anything else that I'm not taking into account that can "enhance" your performance (from a hardware and game settings perspective) when playing CSGO?
Anyone else frustrated with csgo lately?
MM is up to ****. Either you get bulldozed on comps or you dominate the other side.
Wargames gets trolled by 3 haxors regularly especially scout maps. Obvious instadeath walling. If you ask me thet are paid bots trying to ruin the game and drive players to other fps's.
For me the issue with CS isn't really the unbalanced MM games, its the toxic community. While it was always a tad bit toxic for MM, as of late it has become revolting. Every time I play its a combination of people coaching like you said, or raging because a person gets killed and can't clutch a round. The only enjoyable game I had was when I was in a lobby with cheaters blatantly spin botting. Playing solo is a terrible experience. Guess I'll see when I have time again if the game is better or worse than it was last time I played.I did the Arms Race weekly and I must say the community is getting better. The thing with MM, it is tough when you solo as you there will always be comm issues, and you need to be at least 3 players who can organise some structure.
I haven't won an MM in a while, and every time I played, I was coached. People who play with me know what I think about being coached, I know when a player has leadership qualities and when they don't. Yes, the MM is unbalanced at the moment. Too many high-end alts on the low end, too many boosted players at the top, and then due to our low matchmaking numbers we don't get balanced games either way.
Many adult kiddies out and about nowadays in CS. Do my weeklies and then the ***** kick you on the last round.
I usually don't solo queue and prefer to play with like minded reasonable people. I mostly add friends of friends if we had a nice team/game. That said my experience going solo has been mostly positive. Sometimes you get an annoying player or ppl being salty in text chat but its the minority (minors?). I'm mg1 and mostly get match with similar ranks. Perhaps the low silvers are nooby teens and le's+ take things too serious? Issue is there is really no reason to be toxic in csgo, especially not on MM. Playing against lower ranks is also not fun. I feel terrible playing against lower ranks. Can't rank up playing solo either, so its a weird situation. Game put me against Nova's one game then against global's the next. Playing Globals is different to paying nova's. It is a missive adjustment. Globals are in a way predictable, nova's are random.I usually don't solo queue and prefer to play with like minded reasonable people. Not really age, the game is weird. Once you stop playing for a month it takes a considerable amount of time to get back to your old level. All I know is my age is starting to show. 3 Years ago I could still play FPS like my early teens and twenties, but now I am an honoured silver carried by Supremes. Now I know why @Neoprod quit![]()
