CSGO Sticky thread

Did I see right that they dubbed his interview?

I haven't seen it, but I see a R6S player, Virtue, won the big title of esports player of the year. Many proclaiming that Simple was robbed. As I guessed, CSGO on the international scene is not the biggest any more, globally.

I have watched a couple of R6S games, the competitive scene is a good watch, well worth the entertainment value.

That Rainbow 6 guy won play of the year, not player. Probably for making a hole in a wall and shooting people through it...that game is lame AF.

I played very old versions with friends on LAN - I think Raven Shield maybe. Good times.

My bad. I can't read at this time of the night, coming of old age.

I might just have to start taking the game seriously again now. Seems like LE/LEM is where most players are at the moment

The above is drawn by the data which is being pulled into CS:GO-Stats, a table which is very close to this one published in May,

csgo_rank_distribution-2.png

which is based on their own CSGO matchmaking analysis (based on ~7 million matches).

It is all Steam data in any case.

Blue ranks are no man's land.

The HD 800 S gang is strong here. I nearly got HD 800 S over my X2HR, but I am glad I didn't, as the X2HR's atmosphere is surreal, the caveat being that it can get hot under there. I can wear the SHP9500 all day long.

The DT 770 is still a champ, though, but it works so much better with a DAC/amp, and that makes it expensive. Gamers are now buying the DT 700 PRO X which has a detachable cable hence you can plug a mic in.

Lol at Z who called out gamers who use schitty sponsored gaming headsets  Amen, brother.
