Thursday and Friday are good, anytime at night. I can't say what rank I will be getting since the last I ranked they dropped me all the way down to Nova 3 :ROFL:

Dear players, I'm currently busy with my PhD in IT and require CSGO players of various skill levels (from beginner to pro) to assist me in my study's first phase. I require respondents to complete a survey, where I collect your hardware settings (mouse and monitor) as well as in-game settings...

Anyone here with access to CSGO 2? The game is open to most players with rank and Prime now, but is region limited. I'm curious if there's a CSGO 2 instance in Johannesburg, as some local players, those more recognized, already have access.

The international reception has been good so far.

A few mates played over the weekend, they had fun. Likely will try it this weekend too. Sounds like there's local servers.

I got access yesterday. Only played practice with bots so far as I want to get my settings right and I worked till midnight. Hopefully will get a chance to play today.
 
I have been playing quite a bit lately and most of my friends as well. I'm really enjoying it especially that there is so few smurf accounts that got access. Few niggles here and there, but its a beta.
I do enjoy the visuals, and the smokes that can break with an HE grenade. The bullet tracers for me personally is a bit much, recoil feels different and I got stuck into another dude at spawn.
I spawned 1st, ran forward as he was spawning and be both just got stuck.
No other bugs experienced yet.

Gaben is still neglecting me. I came to this thread to get @Neoprod's attention since he went cold on Steam.
 
CSGO 2 is quite the funny place. Valve's new and promised anti-cheat implementations aren't sufficient, so now some cheaters are making a mockery of the situation. Had a chuckle at this guy who just keeps on cheating without any consequence.

He is right though; I highly doubt Valve can do anything about cheating other than banning accounts. Cheating in online gaming is unfortunately an iceberg; there is a behemoth beneath many don't want surfaced.

Anyhow, I am going back to my jungle gym now. @Neoprod, let me know when you have access to CSGO 2.

I had to read an add that said something like Your time is now. Then click on a button. When you get the pop up - don't just close it.
If you still have a rank - you should have one.

its not a bad game overall, very fun minus some bug with it being a beta game
 
Played my first comps. It doesn't take your crosshair across - so now I need to go and look at my old one and recreate it. Also doesn't let you play left-handed yet. Looking forward to that.
So I ave 9 more to win for rank
