At this point there isn't a game-ready CS2 Polaris/GCN AMD driver. Players claim that older drivers work, but I won't know.

I have a Vega 64 and have no issue playing with 23.9.2.

I am sure AMD will publish an optimized Polaris/Vega driver since this game and DOTA2 are played to death in every Asian LAN shop.
 
For those with AMD GPUs experiencing stuttering with CS2 since the game is basically installed over the old game. Try disabling and re-enabling Shader Pre-Caching in your Steam client and also to reset the Shader Cache in Adrenalin.

I haven't read this anywhere, but I remember this as a remedy with some AC games. Any other game which is installed on your system with pre-caching will need to redownload/repopulate the cache when reset.

I grew up on CS1.6

The idea that the bullets don't go where the crosshair is is just how it's always been to me.

The recoil in CS is more complicated than Battlefield. It's vertical and lateral and each gun is different.

AK-47 in CSGO is a mirrored 7 basically.

Playing CS meant just having to learn it or miss lol
 
I keep getting an error message saying I need Directx 11 but I have DirectX 12?
Any suggestions?

Well, I validated the files and all seems fine now...

Somebody could have warned me that there’s no Arms Race anymore. Kill my favourite game mode, why not.

I think they will add stuff back after a while, I don't think all the maps have been updated to source 2 yet. Danger zone will most likely also make a comeback.....not that I care about danger zone, if I wanted a battle royal game, I would play a proper one.....
 
Playing a bit tonight, and when the game is smooth it is a very good FPS. The release is still plagued by a shooting delay, but it only troubles when you spray. This is really now pray and spray. I think that Valve will sort this one out in time.

Other than the above, there seemed to have been server issues, and I had connection issues in some games. Could be my ISP, could be the connection with the server.

There is stuttering, but it must be GPU driver related since it seems to be only AMD owners complaining about it.

Looking forward to play. Have the game now. May end up playing in 2024 knowing myself.

Ok, so I tested cs2 with my new driver... Nothing has changed /sigh

I guess I should put this game on the shelf for the next three months
 
For some reason i dont see any options to vote for the next map after a game in casual? Has that been removed?
