it does feel off compared to CSGO, but it really is a new game. Besides that, they are trying to pull in more players, so it will need to be easier to play and appetizing to the current Valorant player base as well

I don't know whether it is easier. CS is way slower, and tactical. No two rounds play the same. Early map control with utility, knowing map layout, predicting player movement ect. Sure valorant has most of this CS does it way better, and punishment is a lot harsher when you make mistakes. Which is why I prefer it over any other tactical shooter, a bit of luck but much more skill. The only game that came close to CS was battlefield 2 released in the early 2000's it had a lot more going for it and it was actually a really awesome game.

There are some things that are easier now. The Deagle is the first that comes to mind. There is also a lot of running and gunning happening now, the penalties for moving while shooting doesn't seem that severe anymore. Overall I'll always prefer CS. Its all a level playing field with CS, with skill making the difference. There is no magic abilities (refer to Valorant), just util, guns and strategy. CS2 does have its issues currently, hopefully they can fix the issues in a future update

There is a few guns that are broken as well. The MP9 for instance has massive side recoil spray pattern, it is pretty much useless. While CS has issues with AWP campers, it isn't nearly as bad as with other games, at least you can counter and win a fight with a AWP camper, other games give them camp spots on towers and buildings, which make it near impossible in some instances to get them or where you have been shot from, ect. It is balanced that with no matter the weapon you can still win a fight.

They do need to sort out the cheaters. The way I see it, CS is for the civilized and respected folks, the rest are for the uncultured pheasants and toxic kids..... I mean CS has it's share of toxicity but it isn't even in the top 10, CS has a pretty high skill wall if you are a kid or a new player you are going to get slaughtered and with the voting system you can quickly get rid of the undesirable people.

Personally it shouldn't become easier I like it because it is hard, small maps, and quick rounds and no two rounds are the same. Didn't play since since 1.6 for it to become a gun and run game, if I wanted that I would have played COD, or any other shitty battle royal game, not that I have anything against people that enjoy those games, but don't come fk around with my game and complain about it.........
 
Why is everyone running around with default skins and guns? I noticed that in CS2 I had to re-set all my skins but they were still there. Most people had custom character and gun skins, but now … not so much.

There is a LOT of new players or OLD new players that got rid of all their skins. What you should be talking about, instead of useless skins, is how active the game is at the moment, any time of the day you are likely to connect to a full server or a server that will be full in a round or two.

I sold everything I had. Not that I kept things, but I had most premium player skins and condom head. I miss condom head. Not even a single StatTrak in my inventory.

It seems to be only Fl0m who gets cheaters banned, but he is also watched by Valve, so...

I doubt that VACnet is receiving any training now that CSTV and demos have been taken down, temporarily. This said, it should be cheaters paradise at the moment.

Valve also needs to keep their player numbers up, all those malicious and other bot accounts help to keep the game attractive.

Couldn't be bothered with skins, well expensive, skins Most expensive skin is R10.00 bucks odd do have a few cases the prices on the nightmare have gone up a bit and will likely sell them soon, all the skins and stickers I have is solely made from selling cases and weapons, I haven't spend a single cent on CS:GO I haven't made from selling stuff I got for free. To me it is perfectly fine whether you play with or without skins, makes no difference to skill, just your epenis size and flex, I am still going to try and smash your face in with a dirt cheap mag-7 as a polite fk u.

There is nothing dirtier than getting jump shot with a Mag-7. Have added back my negev, after the 3rd day without playing with it, to deal with the noob campers and AWP's, and I only use it on CT and intentionally spam some areas on specific maps when T's continually rush bomb sites, and has resulted in my team winning rounds as a direct result, once they stop rushing I usually just go back to normal guns. I also use the negev when I want to use less utility early in the round a molly and HE have helped me out of jams a lot. With the amount of new and old new players that don't know how to counter and hold proper angles it is OP at the moment. Plus I have no shame, I will use whatever is needed, with the exception of the auto sniper, I don't even have that in my load out.

There is no reason to still be on windows 7 on your main machine, other than cheat. Why would you get banned for using an OS, why isn't mac os users getting banned or all the flavors of linux users, a specific OS, getting you banned and saying it is a "bug". Yeah no you be cheating that is is why.

Other than casual, I can consider my competitive games to be pretty much clean. I have now played around 25 competitive games between my two accounts and I have only suspected two players to have cheated. It is very hard to tell without demos at the moment, but I did report them to have using wall cheats.
