CT and JHB speedtest servers

Are the CT and JHB speedtest servers working?

They both give me around 38 - 42 mbps download speeds.

tried the london one and its down to 0.35mbps download speeds

38-42 Mbps? What kind of connection do you have then?

A friend of mine managed to get that kind of speeds (50-90Mbps) from a Stellenbosch University residence.

I think the problem is with the Java on your PC, you need to get another Java runtime, the one you have has a bug that inflates the values.

saix bw meter shows 9.7 - much better thanks

As for Java - i have the latest version. CT server this morning showed 2.4 mbps, JHB server 54 mbps. also wouldnt the java rte have affected the international test as well?

btw i see cell c is hosting the jhb server now, yesterday it was vodacom
