ctfmon.exe ? What on earth is that

Hi all. For about 3 or 4 times now, when I switch on my pc, and windows has started, I get the error message, that Ctfloader has encountered a problem and needs to close. Then I click on the "more info" and then it tells me the application name that failed to start, is ctfmon.exe. There's nothing else I can see that doesn't work, or any other problems. I just get that error message, and also not everytime, today it didn't give me the error. What can it be, and how can I fix it?

I'm also amazed at how fast people on this forum respond to questions but what impresses me even more is how fast google can answer the same questions.

Google is quicker as Bwana & Gambit pointed out tho
Thos types of questions are not very much commonplace... simply google the full process name (including the .exe).

Well Google should always be any tech savvy person's first stop. I love it when this kind of questions end up here though. I always learn something new.
