Hi
I just upgraded the mesh to a Cudy M3600 3 pack. I have good internet speeds that are stable as previous units performed well but wanted to move to WiFi 7 as most of the main devices are able to use that technology.
I have the mesh setup as follows. Main unit wired from router, the one mesh unit wired to the main unit and another connected wirelessly. Each day I have to reboot the mesh by unplugging the wired unit in the second office as I get no connection. I have separated the 2 channels and using it in router mode, I have tried hotspot mode with the same issue.
Is the unit faulty or am I getting congestion? How do I troubleshoot or fix?
Thanks

Tried updating the firmware?

The fact it only happens to the wired one is interesting but if it was a cable problem then it would never work.

Tried swopping the wireless and wired one? That would go a long way towards figuring out if it’s a unit problem or not.

You really shouldn’t run a router behind a router and that may relate to some of your problems. Either replace you existing router entirely with the Cudy one or keep it in place but then configure the Cudy’s in access point mode only.

Congestion would never be bad enough for you to get no connection, not if it works just fine otherwise.
