Anyone familiar with this router? Looking for something like this that can take 2 sims in case one network goes down. Its also got the connections for an external antenna.

Im just used to the normal Huawei and TP link routers. Dont really know of this brand.

They okayish. Ive had several cudy products. Ive had two of them fail on me after a year though. Expect the same type of quality as TPlink or something like that.

Sometimes you can get real gems with them though. There are some routers you can install openwrt onto.

Are they just junky stuff then? I've never had any issues with TP link, in fact Im using a 10 year old TPlink 6400 here as a fill in since Starlink died but I thought this might give me better speeds with it being newer and it was recommended to me.

I cant really see anything else with two SIM slots and external antenna options.

bought one to fill a dead Wi-Fi spot in the furthest room from the router...does the job...app seems decent but haven't really fiddled with it

Don't think a LTE router with 2 sim slots is common.

I had an outside 4/5G modem thing with them. After a year of being outside it gave up the ghost. I dont know, I dont want to say they junk because when they work, they work well, but I dont want to put my name behind them because I have had 2 devices fail on me (after about a year). I think it comes down to the silicon lottery with them.

Well, I think Im going to take a chance on the Cudy and see how things pan out. Thanks for the comments everyone.

I have this load balancer that can take mutiple connections. You can combine them for redundancy and extra speed, or you can let it fail over from one to the other. And various other features. I used it before I had fibre with two LTE routers. Maybe this will work for you?

I have one for sale if interested.

So I got the router this morning, quickly installed and set it up and its almost doubled my speeds...big difference from my ancient TP link 6400...Money well spent I think.

Which one did you get and are you still happy with it (a Cudy?)
