So this is taking the bulk of my time these days...from the Corporate world to the cooking boot camp.
Should I start a Blog? Anyone interested in reading about the trials and tribulations of Hosehead as he plunges head first into the Strange but wonderful world
of Cordon Bleu.?

What cuisine are you aiming for with the restaurant?

Sorry for only replyin now, went away for the weekend.:p

Right now I'm not 100% sure. Looking to explore SA food more in depth and ad a bit more "class" to it...but i can't imagine a classy vetkoek:D but yeah, the point of going to the academy is to get a bigger understanding of the world of food, you do a 2 year practical working in restaurants around the world (if you choose) so I reckon my decision will be shaped whilst I'm there.

If you intend featuring Cape Malay cuisine somewhere in your menu, let me know - I love love love it!!!

It would of course also help if your retaurant is situated in JHB :)

You may be shocked but food/chef is one of the things I want to be. Unfortunately don't have the capital to just kick it up and doing it.
