Hi guys.

There is an issue whereby you will not be able to open certain web sites.

This issue should be resolved by around 08h30.

Apologies for this inconvenience.

Hi guys.

Just an update.

Resolution to the issue is expected at 11h00.

You will be unable to purchase bandwidth, migrate, get correct usage detail or top up your iCall accounts.

Hoping for a speedy recovery.

Thanks for your understanding.

There was a sudden and total power failure at the data center. First failure was late last night and everything came crashing down. Restored a while later but many of the systems had to be nursed to get them back up again. This took a number of hours.

Then late morning, we were asked to shut all our systems down, so they could replace something in the power supply to the building. This was done and we're coming up again.

Most of our systems were affected as well as the network in Gauteng (actually everything outside of Cpt and Dbn)

Update - the web site is currently down. I am expecting this to be up shortly.

Good to know you don't own generators and have no form of redundancy.

That explains, why signal gone at 11.00pm yesterday for whole night....
