Curve 8900 Nightmare

Please help me just finished upgrading my Blackberry Curve 8900 to Version 5.0.0.411 and now have the following problems:
1. I cant view my sms's from the sms and mms have to use the view folder option.
2. All my sms are from one contact irrespective who sends it, i.e. all my messages will be from Tony
3. Whenever I send/reply/forward an sms to one of my contacts it sends it to Tony though have chosen Sipho .
4. Is it possible to rollback to my old OS, cause this is giving me grief

Please help me!
 
Just go tot he BB site and downloade an older version, should solve your problem
 
Don't they test their upgrades properly? :rolleyes:

Hope a rollback to an older version will help.

I got a Nokia 5230, but with any updates/upgrades I'll wait for others to do the upgrades etc first before I go.

Besides, it's not broken, so why fix it...

Nothing wrong with the software, friend upgraded to 5 ages ago, i still downloaded it for him when v5 came out for my 8520 and he had no trouble with his, must of gotten corrupt during transfer perhaps or was a corrupted download. The BB software server does not support resume so its quite annoying at time, had trouble getting the latest version for my storm 2 last night.

thank you downloading it now. will let you know whether or not it works

finished downloading it and stuck on device connection. windows can
see my phone and install it but somehow cant talk to the device
connections so that can do the upgrade. What am I doing wrong
can somebody please help me.
