Hey

I have a Curve 9300, just upgraded to the Official OS 6.0.0.448
I have noticed BBM isnt working properly now, when I send a message it has the clock and then eventually after a while it gets the tick D and then R
When BBM messages wont go through web browsing doesnt work either.

Anyone else having this problem, and if so do you know why this happens?
Should I revert back to OS 5?

Thanks

Im on Vodacom
Its weird though, after doing the update to 448 BBM was fine, then after about 30mins BBM stopped working all together all I got was the little clock, no internnet browsing nothing, then after a while it came back and wored fine.
its seems ok now, but still dont get the D instantly like on OS5
What should the 3G setting be on? 3G and 2G or just 3G or just 2G?

I had 380 on yesterday but there was that bug in the top menu with the highlited scroller, you couldnt see what you were moving onto, now with 448 that seems fine.
What network are you on?

Vodacom also.

I keep my phone on 2G only. The reason for that is cause 3G drains battery life. Only when I want to download something or receive a big file with BBM etc do I switch to 3G mode.

ok cool, so no idea why my BBM is slow?
I see on the Vodacom download section for blackberry they have this as the supported os:
Software For BlackBerry® Curve™ 3G smartphone (model: 9300)

BlackBerry Handheld Software v5.0.0.1440 (Multilanguage)

Package Version: 5.0.0.1440
Consisting of:
Applications: 5.0.0.846
Software Platform: 6.3.0.39
File name: 9300M_PBr5.0.0_rel1440_PL6.3.0.39_A5.0.0.846_Vodacom.exe
File size: 131.25MB

Do you think that is why BBM is slow, can the OS cause that on the network?

Well, seeing that I am using the same software as you, but not having the same problem...doubt if it is software related. Have you tried doing a battery pull and rebooting the phone.

yeh i didd doo the batteerry pull out story, didnt help, but afteer aboutt 30mins alll is working, BBM is fine noww, so I dunno.
what network you on?
would be nice to hear from some other people running 448 on the 9300
