Custom Card Terminal

Hi all,

Hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction. Trying to find a supplier of customisable card terminal devices.
Ideally would like a card terminal which could accept a customer identity number or similar and fire off a webhook on successful payment to allocate the payment against the customer account on an external system.

Card terminals... oh boy.
You don't know what you're getting yourself into.

In general card terminals are of the EFTPOS type. Most of them are. They're programmable, except for the EMV components because those involve certification at an accredited laboratory.

In any event you will need to learn a lot before you can even think its as simple as firing off a webhook.

Sounds like using an ID number as part of a local account payment by Card... should be standard functionality for most decent POS devices
