Custom Resolutions?

I'm looking for an app to add custom resolutions for my pc. It's connected to a Sansui lcd Tv. My previous HTPC detected the resolution correctly as 1366 x 768, but now with my new HTPC I don't get that resolution. I'm currently using the onboard vga (SIS chipset), VGA to VGA on the lcd.

I already tried Powerstrip, but the Custom Resolution tab is greyed out. Also already downloaded the latest drivers.

With the VGA Utilities installed, I can't go higher than 1024 x 768 and the utility only detects a standard crt, not lcd. With the utilities uninstalled, I can get higher resolutions, but not the one I'm looking for.

Any ideas?

Linux, you can manually force the 1366x768 resolution.

Rather get a cheap(ish) ATi or nVIDIA card. They support all kinds of resolutions and give much better performance as well, even in an HTPC.

Especially the ones that offload the decoding from the CPU to the GPU. On nVidia it's called VDPAU (Linux) I think.

The decoding on the video card sucks. Anyways, don't really need it. Played some 1080P stuff earlier and the cpu (E2200) easily handles it.

Anyone have an old pci-xpress card they don't need anymore?
