Hi,

Need a parcel cleared from Customs (Jhb). Agents contacted want R2000. Any solutions?

Seems the SAPO sent the parcel to the courier section, and now its stuck.

R2000 could be the value including value like duty+vat etc. etc.

Usually a clearing agent charges a % , not a round figure like R2k

What was the item? R2000 seems ludicrous but it depends on the value and type of item purchased..

Was it clothing/shoes?
